Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran persepsi profesi guru, self efficacy, dan minat mahasiswa menjadi guru, serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi profesi guru terhadap self efficacy dan dampaknya pada minat mahasiswa menjadi guru. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 183 mahasiswa program studi kependidikan Fakultas Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia angkatan 2020 dengan teknik sampling proportionate random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda dengan mediasi, dan uji sobel dengan menggunakan bantuan program software IBM SPSS versi 26. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif persepsi profesi guru berada pada kriteria tinggi, self efficacy dan minat mahasiswa menjadi guru berada pada kriteria sedang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1) Persepsi profesi guru berpengaruh positif terhadap minat mahasiswa menjadi guru; 2) Persepsi profesi guru berpengaruh positif terhadap minat mahasiswa menjadi guru secara tidak langsung melalui self efficacy. This research aims to determine the description of perceptions of the teaching profession, self-efficacy, and students' interest in becoming teachers, as well as to determine the influence of perceptions of the teaching profession on self-efficacy and its impact on students' interest in becoming teachers. The research sample consisted of 183 students from the 2020 Faculty of Economics and Business education study program, Indonesian education university using proportionate random sampling technique. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis with mediation, and Sobel test using the IBM SPSS version 26 software program. Based on the descriptive analysis, the perception of the teaching profession is at high criteria, self-efficacy and student interest are teachers are in the medium criteria. The results of this research show that: 1) Perceptions of the teaching profession have a positive effect on students' interest in becoming teachers; 2) Perceptions of the teaching profession have a positive influence on students' interest in becoming teachers indirectly through self-efficacy.
