Abstract
Pemimpin digital bukanlah seseorang yang ahli dalam pemrograman komputer, namun pemimpin digital mampu memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi di era digitalisasi saat ini. Penelitian ini menganalisis gambaran aspek atau dimensi kepemimpinan digital kepala sekolah menengah pertama di kota Sukabumi, Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengkaji apakah kepemimpinan digital kepala sekolah di Sukabumi sudah mencapai target, tepat sasaran atau masih belum memenuhi target dalam meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru abad 21. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif dengan instrumen wawancara dan observasi. Data dikumpulkan dari 3 SMP yang terdiri dari 3 kepala sekolah dan 9 guru di kota Sukabumi. Analisis kualitatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Atlas.Ti versi 8. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan beberapa kendala dalam pelaksanaan penerapan digital yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan anggaran, kurangnya kompetensi digital guru, dan infrastruktur yang belum merata sehingga efektivitas belum tercapai sesuai target. Hasil penelitian ini mengusulkan bahwa dukungan kepala sekolah, peningkatan literasi guru, pembentukan tim inovasi penting bagi kepemimpinan digital agar target program sekolah dapat tercapai. Digital leaders is not someone who is an expert in computer programming, but digital leaders are able to utilize information technology to achieve organizational goals in the current era of digitalization. This research analyzes the description of the digital leadership aspects or dimensions of junior high school principals in Sukabumi city, West Java, Indonesia. This research examines whether the digital leadership of principals in Sukabumi has reached the target, on target or still not meeting the target in improving the digital competence of 21st century teachers. This research use a qualitative descriptive design with interview and observation instrument. Data were collected from 3 junior high schools consisting of 3 principals and 9 teachers in Sukabumi city. The qualitative analysis used in this study was Atlas.Ti 8 version. Based on the results of the research, several obstacles were found in the implementation of digital implementation caused by budget constraints, the lack of digital competence of teachers, and uneven infrastructure so that effectiveness has not been achieved according to the target. The results of this study propose that principal support, increased teacher literacy, the formation of innovation teams are important for digital leadership so that the school program targets can be achieved.
