Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keberfungsian keluarga terhadap kesiapan menikah dengan kelekatan dewasa sebagai variabel mediator pada emerging adult di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan partisipan sabanyak 202 emerging adult (usia 18-25 tahun) di Kota Bandung yang sedang dalam hubungan romantis. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen Sukoon Marital Readiness untuk mengukur kesiapan menikah, Short Version of Family Assessment Device (FAD) untuk mengukur keberfungsian keluarga, serta Experiences in Close Relationship-Revised (ECR-R) untuk mengukur kelekatan dewasa. Proses mediasi dianalisis menggunakan Model 4 dari makro PROCESS Hayes versi 4.2. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa attachment-related avoidance memediasi pengaruh keberfungsian keluarga terhadap kesiapan menikah pada emerging adult yang sedang dalam hubungan romantis di Kota Bandung. Sedangkan, attachment-related anxiety tidak memediasi pengaruh keberfungsian keluarga terhadap kesiapan menikah pada emerging adult yang sedang dalam hubungan romantis di Kota Bandung. This study aims to determine the effect of family functioning on marriage readiness with adult attachment as a mediator variable in emerging adults in Bandung. This study used quantitative methods with 202 emerging adults (aged 18-25 years) in Bandung who were involved in romantic relationships as participants. This study used the Sukoon Marital Readiness instrument to measure marriage readiness, the Short Version of Family Assessment Device (FAD) to measure family functioning, and Experiences in Close Relationship-Revised (ECR-R) to measure adult attachment. The mediation process was analyzed using Model 4 of Hayes' PROCESS macro version 4.2. The results of this study indicate that attachment-related avoidance mediates the effect of family functioning on marriage readiness in emerging adults who are in a romantic relationship in Bandung. Meanwhile, attachment-related anxiety does not mediate the impact of family functioning on marriage readiness in emerging adults who are in a romantic relationship in Bandung.
