Abstract
ABSTRAK KARAKTERISTIK ANTROPOMETRI ATLET POLO AIR PUTRI PELATDA PON DENGAN POSISI BERMAIN Nur Ani Gunawan Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Pembimbing I : Prof. Dr. R. Boyke Mulyana, M.Pd. Pembimbing II : Sagitarius, M.Pd. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan karakteristik antropometri atlet polo air putri berdasarkan posisi bermain. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 14 atlet Pelatda PON Polo Air putri Jawa Barat tahun 2024. Instrumen penelitian berupa survei yang meliputi tes antropometri dan pengisian formulir hasil tes untuk memperoleh data responden. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan Stature Meter untuk mengukur tinggi badan dan Body Composition Monitor Karada Scan Omron HBF-375 untuk mengukur berat badan dan indeks massa tubuh (BMI). Karakteristik antropometri atlet Pelatda PON Polo Air Putri berdasarkan posisi bermain ditampilkan dalam tabel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa karakteristik antropometri atlet Pelatda PON Polo Air Putri bervariasi berdasarkan posisi bermain. Pengambilan data ini bertujuan untuk pada pengembangan pemainnya agar sesuai dengan posisi spesifiknya melalui penerapan pelatihan yang lebih banyak dan lebih spesifik untuk posisi agar mencapai karakteristik fisik yang optimal untuk setiap posisi. Boyke Mulyana, M.Pd. Advisor II : Sagitarius, M.Pd. This study aims to develop the anthropometric characteristics of female water polo athletes based on their playing positions. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with an ex post facto design. The study population consists of 14 female athletes from the West Java Water Polo PON Training Center in 2024. The research instruments include surveys involving anthropometric tests and the completion of test result forms to obtain respondent data. Data were collected using a Stature Meter to measure height and a Body Composition Monitor Karada Scan Omron HBF-375 to measure weight and body mass index (BMI). The anthropometric characteristics of the female water polo athletes from the West Java PON Training Center, based on playing positions, are presented in tables. Based on the research results and data analysis, it is concluded that the anthropometric characteristics of the athletes vary according to their playing positions. The data collection aims to develop players to fit their specific positions by implementing more and more specific training for each position to achieve the optimal physical characteristics for each position.
