Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemunduran pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam perkembangan akademik (learning loss) peserta didik kelas X di SMAN 13 Bandung yang dihadapi dengan strategi pendidikan yang berorientasi ke masa depan. Dengan berlandaskan pada beberapa misi dan tujuan sekolah yang selaras dengan yang dibutuhkan dalam menghadapi learning loss, penulis melakukan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi implementasi strategi pendidikan yang berorientasi ke masa depan di SMAN 13 Bandung dalam menghadapi learning loss mencakup pelaksanaan, peran warga yang berkaitan, serta dampak yang diberikan pada peserta didik yang mengalami learning loss. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan informan penelitian meliputi wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, guru sosiologi kelas X, peserta didik kelas X yang mengalami learning loss. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Strategi pendidikan future oriented yang dilaksanakan dalam enam bentuk antara lain transformasi pendidikan antara lain berpusat pada peserta didik, menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan partisipatif, mengembangkan wawasan multikultural peserta didik, mengedepankan pembelajaran inovatif, bekerja sama dengan stakeholder dalam proses pendidikan, meningkatkan adaptabilitas peserta didik dalam menghadapi masa depan, (2) Peran warga sekolah yakni a) wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum sebagai pengembang kurikulum dan pembuat kebijakan, b) guru sebagai fasilitator, pengajar, pembimbing dan pembina, serta c) peserta didik sebagai penerima pendidikan dalam penerapan strategi pendidikan yang berorientasi ke masa depan di SMAN 13 Bandung dalam menghadapi learning loss, (3) Dampak yang diberikan pada peserta didik yang mengalami learning loss antara lain terjadi perkembangan kemandirian, terjadi perkembangan sikap kepemimpinan pada, meminimalisir kesulitan belajar yang dialami, terjadi peningkatan keterampilan abad-21, peningkatan keterampilan berinteraksi antar peserta didik, membantu menghadapi perubahan, dan meningkatkan pemahaman akan lingkungan keberlanjutan. This research was motivated by the decline in knowledge and skills in academic development (learning loss) of class X students at SMAN 13 Bandung who were faced with educational strategies that were oriented towards the future. Based on several school missions and objectives that are in line with what is needed in dealing with learning loss, the author conducted research to identify the implementation of future-oriented educational strategies at SMAN 13 Bandung in dealing with learning loss, including implementation, the role of related citizens, and the impact given to students who experience learning loss. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study design. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation with research informants, including the deputy principal for curriculum, class X sociology teacher, and class X students who experienced learning loss. The results of this research are (1) future-oriented educational strategies implemented in six forms including student-centered educational transformation, creating interactive and participatory learning, developing students' multicultural insight, prioritizing innovative learning, collaborating with stakeholders in the educational process, increasing adaptability of students in facing the future, (2) The role of school members, namely a) deputy principal for curriculum as a curriculum developer and policy maker, b) teachers as facilitators, instructors, mentors, and coaches, and c) students as recipients of education in the implementation of future-oriented educational strategies at SMAN 13 Bandung in dealing with learning loss, (3) The impact on students who experience learning loss includes the development of independence, the development of leadership attitudes, minimizing the learning difficulties experienced, and increasing 21st century skills, increasing interaction skills between students, helping to deal with change, and increasing understanding of environmental sustainability.
