Abstract
Kata kunci: Metode Distribusi, Metode Padat, Passing Diamond, Short Passing Stopping Short Passing stopping is a very important basic technique in the game of football, where passing stopping is the dominant technique in every football game situation. Therefore, passing practice is very much needed to improve short passing skills in football. This research aims to determine the difference in the effect of diamond passing training using the distribution method and the dense method on improving short passing stopping skills in the game of football. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The population used in this research were all KU-12 & 13 SSB Kibar Putra students. The sample consisted of 30 students taken using total sampling technique. The instruments in this study used the Football and Ball Hold Test. The data analysis techniques used are the paired sample t-test and the independent sample t-test. The results of this research show that there is a significant effect of diamond passing training using the distribution method and dense method on improving short pass stopping skills in the game of football. And diamond passing training using the distribution method has a better effect compared to diamond passing training using the solid method on improving short passing stopping skills.
