Abstract

Dalam menyiapkan sdm yang berkualitas yang siap kerja, pendidikan di Indonesia melakukan program praktik kerja lapangan sebagai penunjang siswa dalam menyiapkan diri sebelum memasuki dunia pekerjaan. Keberhasilan program PKL ini didukung oleh keahlian atau kompetensi yang dimiliki para siswa. Skripsi ini menyajikan hasil penelitian yang ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kompetensi penataan arsip inaktif terhadap efektivitas praktik kerja lapangan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah explanatory survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket kepada 60 siswa XII OTKP. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukan variabel kompetensi penataan arsip inaktif berada pada kategori efektif, dan variabel efektivitas pratik kerja lapangan siswa berada pada kategori sedang. Adapun analisis statistik inferensial menunjukan bahwa variabel kompetensi penataan arsip inaktif berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas praktik kerja lapangan siswa. Akan tetapi indikator pengelompokan arsip inaktif pada variabel kompetensi penataan arsip inaktif dan indikator kedisiplinan pada variabel efektivitas praktik kerja lapangan siswa harus ditingkatkan karena memiliki nilai terendah. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan ialah dengan menguasai pengelolaan kearsipan secara menyeluruh dan juga memahami tujuan dan manfaat dari PKL itu sendiri. In preparing quality human resources who are ready to work, education in Indonesia conducts field work practice programs to support students in preparing themselves before entering the world of work. The success of this PKL program is supported by the expertise or competencies possessed by students, one of which is archival competence. This thesis presents the results of research aimed at knowing the effect of the competence of structuring inactive archives on the effectiveness of student field work practice. The research method used in this study is an explanatory survey with a quantitative approach. Research data were obtained through distributing questionnaires to 60 XII OTKP students. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that the variable competence of structuring inactive archives was in the effective category, and the variable effectiveness of student field work practice was in the moderate category. The inferential statistical analysis shows that the inactive archive structuring competency variable has a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of student field work practice. However, the inactive archive grouping indicator on the inactive archive structuring competency variable and the discipline indicator on the student field work practice effectiveness variable must be improved because it has the lowest score. Efforts that can be made are to master archival management thoroughly and also understand the purpose and benefits of the PKL itself.
