Abstract

Pelaksanaan evaluasi program dalam kegiatan pelatihan perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana keterlaksanaan kegiatan sudah mencapai tujuan. Hasilnya dapat dijadikan masukan untuk perencanaan program selanjutnya bagi para pembuat kebijakan. Peneliti mengkaji model evaluasi CIPP (context, input, process, product) karena terdapat indikasi adanya penerapan keempat aspek model CIPP pada program pelatihan desain grafis di BLKK Al Idrus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan evaluasi context, input, process, dan product pada program pelatihan desain grafis di BLKK Al Idrus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari penyelenggara, instruktur, dan peserta pelatihan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya upaya inovatif untuk memadukan pendidikan tradisional dengan pelatihan kejuruan modern. Proses evaluasinya telah sesuai dengan keempat aspek model evaluasi CIPP. Evaluasi context pada program ini menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang program disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan santri. Proses identifikasinya dilakukan dengan cara diskusi dalam forum santri sehingga menghasilkan kebutuhan yang spesifik. Apabila dihubungkan dengan evaluasi input, kolaborasi dengan industri dan penyediaan sumber daya yang memadai menjadi hal yang mendukung pelaksanaan program untuk memenuhi tujuan program. Sejalan dengan masukan yang ada, evaluasi process pada program pelatihan ini mencakup penggunaan sumber daya menunjukkan adanya fleksibilitas dan responsivitas yang baik. Hal ini dihubungkan dengan evaluasi product yang menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan vocational skill santri baik kecakapan vokasional dasar maupun khusus, terlihat dari peningkatan kualitas karya dan kemampuan dalam mengaplikasikan ilmu yang didapat, meskipun masih ada ruang untuk peningkatan dalam hal monitoring jangka panjang dan kolaborasi dengan industri. Implementation of program evaluation in training activities needs to be carried out to determine the extent to which the implementation of the activities has achieved the objectives. The results can be used as input for future program planning for policy makers. Researchers studied the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, product) because there were indications of the application of the four aspects of the CIPP model in the graphic design training program at BLKK Al Idrus. This research aims to describe the evaluation of context, input, process and product in the graphic design training program at BLKK Al Idrus. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Research participants consisted of organizers, instructors and training participants. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research results show that there are innovative efforts to combine traditional education with modern vocational training. The evaluation process is in accordance with the four aspects of the CIPP evaluation model. Evaluation of the context of this program shows that the program background is adapted to the needs of the students. The identification process is carried out by means of discussions in student forums to produce specific needs. When linked to input evaluation, collaboration with industry and the provision of adequate resources are things that support program implementation to meet program objectives. In line with existing input, the process evaluation of this training program includes the use of resources, showing good flexibility and responsiveness. This is connected with the product evaluation which shows that this program has succeeded in improving the vocational skills of students, both basic and special vocational skills, as seen from the increase in the quality of work and the ability to apply the knowledge gained, although there is still room for improvement in terms of long-term monitoring and collaboration with industry.
