Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran intimate friendship dalam memoderasi pengaruh privacy concern terhadap Self-Disclosure pada pengguna aktif second account instagram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel non-probability sampling, yaitu accidental sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 441 orang berusia minimal 13 tahun yang merupakan pengguna second account Instagram. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya, SNS Collective Privacy concern (SNSCPC), Revised Self-Disclosure Scale (RSDS), dan Intimate Friendship Scale. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa intimate friendship sebagai variable moderator pengaruh privacy concern terhadap self-disclosure. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa intimate friendship dapat memoderasi pengaruh privacy concern terhadap Self-Disclosure pada pengguna aktif second account Instagram. This research aims to examine the role of intimate friendship in moderating the effect of privacy concern on Self-Disclosure in active users of second account instagram. This study uses a quantitative approach with non-probability sampling technique, accidental sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 441 people aged min. 13 years who are users of second account Instagram. The measuring instruments used in this study include, SNS Collective Privacy concern (SNSCPC), Revised Self-Disclosure Scale (RSDS), and Intimate Friendship Scale. The data analysis technique used is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) using SPSS version 25. This study shows the results that intimate friendship as a moderator variable influences privacy concern on self-disclosure. It can be concluded that intimate friendship can moderate the effect of privacy concern on self-disclosure on active users of Instagram second accounts in Java.
