Abstract
UMKM di Kota Cimahi memiliki potensi strategis untuk mengembangkan terutama sektor makanan/minuman. Kota Cimahi merupakan salah satu kota yang mengalami pertumbuhan jumlah UMKM dengan presentase 50.24%. Namun, bertumbuhnya jumlah UMKM tidak dibarengi dengan jumlah omset yang terjadi fluktuatif dari tahun 2019 s.d 2023 dan ditemukan kendala seperti SDM belum mempunyai pengetahuan dasar dalam berwirausaha, kurangnya kemandirian dalam berwirausaha, dan kurangnya penguasaan dalam penggunaan teknologi. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan kinerja tersebut penting bagi para pelaku UMKM untuk menciptakan nilai tambah dengan upaya memperkuat intellectual capital, strategic agility, dan innovation capability. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran dan pengaruh intellectual capital dan strategic agility terhadap business performance yang dimediasi oleh innovation capability. Sampel penelitian 106 UMKM dengan teknik probability sampling dengan jenis cluster sampling. Hasil analisis deskriptif business performance dan innovation capability dikategorikan sedang, intellectual capital dan strategic agility dikategorikan tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intellectual capital berpengaruh terhadap innovation capability, strategic agility tidak berpengaruh terhadap innovation capability, intellectual capital dan strategic agility berpengaruh terhadap business performance, innovation capability berpengaruh terhadap business performance, innovation capability memediasi pengaruh intellectual capital terhadap business performance, dan innovation capability tidak memediasi pengaruh intellectual capital terhadap business performance MSMEs in Cimahi City have strategic potential to develop, especially the food/beverage sector. Cimahi City is one of the cities that has experienced growth in the number of MSMEs with a percentage of 50.24%. However, the growth in the number of MSMEs was not accompanied by a fluctuating turnover from 2019 to 2023 and obstacles were found such as human resources not having basic knowledge in entrepreneurship, lack of independence in entrepreneurship, and lack of mastery in the use of technology. In overcoming these performance problems, it is important for MSME players to create added value by strengthening intellectual capital, strategic agility and innovation capability. The aim of this research is to determine the description and influence of intellectual capital and strategic agility on business performance which is mediated by innovation capability. The research sample was 106 MSMEs using probability sampling technique with cluster sampling type. The results of the descriptive analysis of business performance and innovation capability are categorized as medium, while intellectual capital and strategic agility are categorized as high. The research results show that intellectual capital influences innovation capability, strategic agility does not influence innovation capability, intellectual capital and strategic agility influence business performance, innovation capability influences business performance, innovation capability mediates the influence of intellectual capital on business performance, and innovation capability does not. mediates the influence of intellectual capital on business performance.
