    Abstract

    The post-Covid-19 epidemic learning has significantly changed how learning is
    delivered in schools. This change has caused schools to online learning settings
    which, requires teachers to adapt to the online learning system and adopt
    appropriate online tools for various lessons, especially in the context of writing
    lessons. Google Docs is one of the popular online tools that can be very helpful for
    writing lessons, notably since it facilitates collaborative writing particularly online
    collaborative writing assignments among student groups. Google Docs is equipped
    with several features that enable productive group collaboration. This research aims
    to analyze students' perceptions of using Google Docs as a collaborative writing
    tool and identify its benefits and drawbacks. In order to accomplish this research,
    the qualitative case study was employed with two data collection methods:
    interviews and questionnaires. The questionnaire, consisting of 16 closed-ended
    questions, was delivered to 26 students of class X Science class to gather data and
    establish sources. The researcher gained more in-depth data regarding students'
    perceptions of using Google Docs as a collaborative writing tool through semi
    structured online interviews with 4 student participants. The findings showed that
    most students shared a positive opinion regarding using Google Docs for this
    specific purpose. Google Docs enhances the online collaborative writing process by
    offering beneficial features and improving student performance regarding group
    work, collaboration, and usability. Furthermore, students' engagement in the online
    collaborative writing assignment increased in accomplishing the task.

    Pembelajaran pasca pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah cara pembelajaran di
    sekolah secara signifikan. Perubahan ini menyebabkan sekolah menerapkan
    pengaturan pembelajaran online yang mengharuskan guru untuk beradaptasi
    dengan sistem pembelajaran online dan mengadopsi perangkat online yang sesuai
    untuk berbagai pembelajaran, terutama dalam konteks pembelajaran menulis.
    Google Docs adalah salah satu alat online populer yang bisa sangat membantu
    dalam pelajaran menulis, terutama karena Google Docs memfasilitasi penulisan
    kolaboratif khususnya tugas menulis kolaboratif online antar kelompok siswa.
    Google Docs dilengkapi dengan beberapa fitur yang memungkinkan kolaborasi
    kelompok produktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi siswa
    terhadap penggunaan Google Docs sebagai alat menulis kolaboratif dan
    mengidentifikasi kelebihan dan kekurangannya. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian
    ini, studi kasus kualitatif digunakan dengan dua metode pengumpulan data:
    wawancara dan kuesioner. Angket yang terdiri dari 16 soal tertutup ini disampaikan
    kepada 26 siswa kelas X IPA untuk mengumpulkan data dan menetapkan sumber.
    Peneliti memperoleh data lebih mendalam mengenai persepsi siswa terhadap
    penggunaan Google Docs sebagai alat menulis kolaboratif melalui wawancara
    online semi terstruktur terhadap 4 peserta siswa. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa
    sebagian besar siswa mempunyai pendapat positif mengenai penggunaan Google
    Docs untuk tujuan khusus ini. Google Dokumen menyempurnakan proses penulisan
    kolaboratif online dengan menawarkan fitur bermanfaat dan meningkatkan kinerja
    siswa terkait kerja kelompok, kolaborasi, dan kegunaan. Selain itu, keterlibatan
    siswa dalam tugas menulis kolaboratif online meningkat dalam menyelesaikan
    tugas.
