Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya partisipasi peserta dalam pembelajaran daring dan kurangnya variasi media pembelajaran yang menyebabkan kejenuhan dalam pelatihan barista di Balai Pelatihan Vokasi dan Produktivitas (BPVP) Bandung Barat. Hasil identifikasi masalah menunjukkan perlunya analisis mendalam terhadap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta kelebihan dan kelemahan dari strategi berbasis blended learning yang diterapkan. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan agar strategi pembelajaran berbasis blended learning dapat lebih efektif dalam memenuhi kebutuhan peserta pelatihan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen, melibatkan penyelenggara pelatihan, instruktur, dan peserta pelatihan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran berbasis blended learning efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan peserta, terutama dalam aspek praktis pelatihan barista. Namun, ditemukan bahwa variasi media pembelajaran daring yang terbatas menyebabkan kejenuhan dan menurunkan tingkat partisipasi peserta selama sesi daring. Selain itu, kurangnya dukungan teknis dan manajemen waktu yang kurang optimal juga menjadi kendala yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan pelatihan. Kesimpulannya, strategi pembelajaran berbasis blended learning yang diterapkan sudah efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan peserta, namun memerlukan perbaikan dalam hal variasi media pembelajaran daring dan dukungan teknis yang lebih baik. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini mencakup peningkatan variasi media pembelajaran, penguatan dukungan teknis, serta pelatihan manajemen waktu untuk peserta guna meningkatkan efektivitas dan keterlibatan dalam pelatihan. This study was conducted to address the issue of low participant engagement in online learning and the lack of variety in learning media, which led to boredom during the barista training at the Balai Pelatihan Vokasi dan Produktivitas (BPVP) in Bandung Barat. Problem identification results indicated the need for an in-depth analysis of the planning, implementation, and the strengths and weaknesses of the blended learning strategy applied. The primary objective of this research is to provide recommendations for improvement to make the blended learning strategy more effective in meeting the needs of the training participants. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and document analysis, involving training organizers, instructors, and participants. The findings of the research show that the blended learning strategy is effective in enhancing participants' skills, particularly in the practical aspects of barista training. However, it was found that the limited variety of online learning media led to boredom and reduced participant engagement during online sessions. Additionally, insufficient technical support and suboptimal time management were identified as challenges affecting the success of the training. In conclusion, while the blended learning strategy applied was effective in improving participants' skills, improvements are needed in terms of the variety of online learning media and better technical support. The recommendations from this study include enhancing the variety of learning media, strengthening technical support, and providing time management training for participants to increase effectiveness and engagement in the training.
