Abstract
World Bank menyatakan bahwa Usaha Mikro dan Kecil (UMK) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian dunia, seperti membuka lapangan pekerjaan, memberikan inovasi yang besar, bahkan memberikan kontribusi terhadap pendapatan negara (PDB). Namun kinerja karyawannya tergolong rendah. Rendahnya kinerja karyawan saat ini nampak pada penurunan daya saing SDM Indonesia beberapa tahun terakhir. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kinerja karyawan dengan menguji teori perilaku organisasi dengan variabel kepemimpinan Islam, etika kerja Islam, motivasi kerja Islam, dan penghargaan terhadap kinerja karyawan, serta lingkungan kerja Islam sebagai variabel mediasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian non-experiment dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala interval. Teknik pengambilan non-probability sampling dengan menggunakan jenis sampel purposive sampling. Teknik analisis pengumpulan data menggunakan Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Adapun subjek penelitiannya adalah karyawan muslim UMK di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara variabel kepemimpinan Islam, etika kerja Islam, motivasi kerja Islam, dan penghargaan terhadap kinerja karyawan secara langsung dan variabel lingkungan kerja Islam memediasi variabel kepemimpinan Islam, etika kerja Islam, motivasi kerja Islam, dan penghargaan terhadap kinerja karyawan UMK Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi para pengusaha untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan, yang akan mempengaruhi kinerja bisnis dan peningkatan daya saing. The World Bank states that Micro and Small Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in the world economy, such as creating jobs, providing great innovation, and even contributing to state income (GDP). However, employee performance is low. The low performance of employees is currently seen in the decline in the competitiveness of Indonesian human resources in recent years. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze employee performance by testing the theory of organizational behavior with variables of Islamic leadership, Islamic work ethics, Islamic work motivation, and rewards on employee performance, and the Islamic work environment as a mediating variable. The research method used is a non-experiment research method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with an interval scale. Non-probability sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data collection analysis techniques using Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The research subjects were Muslim employees of MSMEs in Bandung City. This study proves that there is a positive influence between Islamic leadership variables, Islamic work ethics, Islamic work motivation, and rewards on employee performance directly and Islamic work environment variables mediate Islamic leadership variables, Islamic work ethics, Islamic work motivation, and rewards on the performance of MSME employees in Bandung City. This research is expected to be a reference for entrepreneurs to improve employee performance, which will affect business performance and increase competitiveness.
