Abstract
Pengetahuan gizi sangat penting bagi mahasiswi dalam menerapkan kebiasaan konsumsi makanan yang seimbang dan bergizi, sehingga dapat terhindar dari anemia gizi besi. Anemia gizi besi dapat disebabkan karena terlalu sering mengonsumsi fast food yang tinggi kalori namun rendah mineral, seperti zat besi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan gizi dan pangan, kebiasaan konsumsi fast food, pengaruh pengetahuan gizi dan pangan terhadap kebiasaan konsumsi fast food, serta mengetahui perbedaan kebiasaan konsumsi fast food antara mahasiswi yang telah mengikuti dengan mahasiswi yang belum mengikuti mata kuliah Gizi dan Pangan. Sampel dari penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif ini yaitu mahasiswi PTAg yang telah dan belum mengikuti mata kuliah Gizi dan Pangan. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa dokumentasi nilai akhir mata kuliah Gizi dan Pangan serta angket kebiasaan konsumsi fast food. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan Independent Sample T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan gizi dan pangan mahasiswi rata-rata termasuk “istimewa (A)”, kebiasaan konsumsi fast food kedua kelompok mahasiswi termasuk “baik”, terdapat pengaruh positif secara tidak signifikan antara pengetahuan gizi dan pangan terhadap kebiasaan konsumsi fast food mahasiswi dengan kontribusi sebesar 1,6% (sangat lemah), serta terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kebiasaan konsumsi fast food mahasiswi yang telah mengikuti dengan mahasiswi yang belum mengikuti mata kuliah Gizi dan Pangan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, kebiasaan konsumsi fast food mahasiswi yang telah mengikuti mata kuliah Gizi dan Pangan lebih baik daripada mahasiswi yang belum mengikuti mata kuliah Gizi dan Pangan. Hal ini dikarenakan pengetahuan gizi dan pangan dapat membentuk kebiasaan konsumsi fast food dalam batas yang wajar (1-2×/minggu). Nutritional knowledge is very important for female students in implementing balanced and nutritious food consumption habits, so that they can avoid iron nutritional anemia. Iron nutritional anemia can be caused by consuming fast food that is high in calories but low in minerals, such as iron. This study aims to find out nutrition and food knowledge, fast food consumption habits, the influence of nutrition and food knowledge on fast food consumption habits, and to find out the differences in fast food consumption habits between female students who have followed and female students who have not taken the Nutrition and Food course. The sample of this quantitative descriptive research is PTAg students who have and have not taken Nutrition and Food courses. The instruments used were in the form of documentation of the final grades of the Nutrition and Food course and a questionnaire on fast food consumption habits. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression and Independent Sample T-test. The results showed that the average female student's knowledge of nutrition and food was included in "special (A)", the fast food consumption habits of the two groups of female students were included in "good", there was an insignificant positive influence between nutritional knowledge and food on the female students' fast food consumption habits with a contribution of 1.6% (very weak), and there was a significant difference between fast food consumption habits of female students who have followed with female students who have not taken the Nutrition and Food course. Based on these results, the fast food consumption habits of female students who have taken the Nutrition and Food course are better than those who have not taken the Nutrition and Food course. This is because nutrition and food knowledge can form fast food consumption habits within reasonable limits (1-2×/week).
