Abstract
Citizen science project menjadi salah satu kegiatan pembelajaran yang aktif melibatkan partisipasi warga dan ilmuwan ahli dalam suatu proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai keterlaksanaan implementasi citizen science project terintegrasi green school pada pembelajaran keanekaragaman hayati dalam melatih keterampilan komunikasi dan literasi keberlanjutan peserta didik. Pembelajaran keanekaragaman hayati melalui citizen science project pada penelitian ini diintegrasikan dengan program green school yang dilaksanakan oleh sekolah yang mendapatkan predikat adiwiyata. Program pada green school yang diintegrasikan dengan citizen science project merupakan kegiatan identifikasi keanekaragaman hayati di Sekolah. Metode penelitian ini yaitu penelitian Quasi-Experimental dengan Posttest-Only Design. Sampel penelitian diambil dari dua kelas X (masing-masing 36 peserta didik) di sekolah menengah atas negeri (SMAN) Kota Bandung yang telah memiliki predikat adiwiyata. Pembelajaran pada kelas kelas kontrol dilakukan melalui ceramah dan praktikum. Sementara pada kelas eksperimen dilakukan melalui citizen science project terintegrasi green school. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket keterlaksanaan, angket komunikasi lisan dan tulisan, soal literasi keberlanjutan dan angket respons peserta didik yang telah divalidasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif berbantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) keterlaksanaan citizen science project terintegrasi green school pada pembelajaran keanekaragaman hayati sebesar 100% dengan kategori sangat baik, (2) keterampilan komunikasi lisan tidak memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan, sementara komunikasi tertulis memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol, (3) literasi keberlanjutan tidak memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol (4) dan respons peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran citizen science project terintegrasi green school mendapat kategori sangat baik (respons positif > 80% setuju). Implikasi dari penelitian ini yaitu sebagai referensi kegiatan pembelajaran pada konsep keanekaragaman hayati yang aktif melibatkan peserta didik dan elemen masyarakat lain di luar kelas. Citizen science project is one of the learning activities that actively involve the participation of citizens and expert scientists in a project. This study aims to obtain information on the implementation of the citizen science project integrated with green school in biodiversity learning in training students' communication skills and sustainability literacy. Biodiversity learning through citizen science project in this study is integrated with the green school program implemented by schools that have received the Adiwiyata predicate. The program in green school that is integrated with citizen science project is an activity to identify biodiversity in schools. The research method is Quasi-Experimental research with Posttest-Only Design. The research sample was taken from two classes X (36 students each) at a state senior high school (SMAN) in Bandung City that has received the Adiwiyata predicate. Learning in the control classes is carried out through lectures and practicums. While in the experimental class it is carried out through a citizen science project integrated with green school. The research instruments are in the form of an implementation questionnaire, oral and written communication questionnaires, sustainability literacy questions and validated student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique is carried out quantitatively with the help of SPSS. The results of the study showed that (1) the implementation of the citizen science project integrated with green school in biodiversity learning was 100% with a very good category, (2) oral communication skills did not have a significant difference, while written communication had a significant difference between the experimental and control classes, (3) sustainability literacy did not have a significant difference between the experimental and control classes (4) and student responses to citizen science project learning were categorized as very good (positive responses > 80% agree). The implications of this study are as a reference for learning activities on the concept of biodiversity that actively involve students and other community elements outside the classroom.
