Abstract

SMA Negeri 2 Cibinong merupakan sekolah penggerak di Kabupaten Bogor yang menerapkan program Roadmap Of Outstanding Educators (Roots) sebagai upaya preventif dalam mengurangi permasalahan bullying siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis terkait implementasi program roots di SMA Negeri 2 Cibinong dalam mencegah perilaku bullying siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program roots yang telah berjalan di SMA Negeri 2 Cibinong masih kurang maksimal dalam mencegah perilaku bullying siswa di sekolah. Hal itu disebabkan karena sekolah tersebut belum sepenuhnya mengikuti petunjuk pelaksanaan program yang dibuat dan dihimbau oleh pemerintah, terutama dalam hal mekanisme pemilihan siswa agen perubahan. Selain itu, adanya pelaksanaan program roots di SMA Negeri 2 Cibinong menimbulkan berbagai dampak, baik secara positif maupun negatif. Dampak positif di antaranya membuat siswa berani melapor apabila melihat atau mengalami kasus bullyingdi sekolah, meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai bahaya bullying dan keterampilan untuk mencegah bullying, serta dapat dijadikan media dalam memberikan pemahaman nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter di luar jam pelajaran kelas. Sedangkan dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan adalah munculnya kesenjangan terkait pemahaman bullying pada siswa di sekolah. Hal itu disebabkan karena dalam pelaksanaan program roots lebih banyak memfokuskan pada siswa yang terpilih menjadi agen perubahan. SMA Negeri 2 Cibinong is a driving school in Bogor Regency which implements the Roadmap of Outstanding Educators (Roots) program as a preventive effort to reduce the problem of student bullying at school. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the roots program at SMA Negeri 2 Cibinong in preventing student bullying behavior. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis is carried out by data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The research results show that the implementation of the roots program that has been running at SMA Negeri 2 Cibinong is still not optimal in preventing student bullying behavior at school. This is because the school has not fully followed the program implementation instructions created and recommended by the government, especially in terms of the mechanism for selecting student agents of change. Apart from that, the implementation of the roots program at SMA Negeri 2 Cibinong has had various impacts, both positive and negative. Positive impacts include making students dare to report if they see or experience cases of bullying at school, increasing students' understanding of the dangers of bullying and skills to prevent bullying, and can be used as a medium to provide an understanding of the values of character education outside class hours. Meanwhile, the negative impact that arises is the emergence of gaps regarding the understanding of bullying among students at school. This is because the implementation of the roots program focuses more on students who are selected to become agents of change.
