Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi berdasarkan kajian tentang nilai-nilai karakter yang belum tertanam pada anak terutama nilai kepedulian, keadilan dan pengendalian diri serta terbatasnya media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk menumbuhkan karakter anak dapat melalui media pembelajaran audio visual bermuatan pupuh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran audio visual bermuatan pupuh maskumambang dalam menumbuhkan nilai-nilai karakter anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan R&D (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Identifikasi masalah dilakukan melalui wawancara guru dan observasi mengenai kebutuhan anak maupun sekolah, kelayakan media dilakukan melalui validasi ahli media mendapat nilai delapan puluh satu dan ahli materi mendapatkan nilai delapan puluh tujuh, kepraktisan media dilakukan melalui uji coba media dengan melibatkan guru dan anak dengan nilai sembilan puluh. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran audio visual bermuatan pupuh maskumambang dapat menumbuhkan nilai-nilai karakter anak sekaligus pengenalan budaya sunda. This research is motivated by a study of character values that have not been embedded in children, especially the values of care, justice and self-control as well as the limited learning media used. One way that can be done to grow children's character can be through audio visual learning media loaded with pupuh. The purpose of this research is to develop audio-visual learning media loaded with pupuh maskumambang in fostering early childhood character values. This research uses the R&D (Research and Development) approach method with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Problem identification is carried out through teacher interviews and observations regarding the needs of children and schools, media feasibility is carried out through validation of media experts get a score of eighty-one and material experts get a score of eighty-seven, media practicality is carried out through media trials involving teachers and children with a score of ninety. The implication of this study is that audio-visual learning media loaded with pupuh maskumambang can foster children's character values as well as an introduction to Sundanese culture.
