Abstract

Multiple intelligence berhubungan erat dengan literasi sains melalui aktivitas seperti field trip. Dengan memahami kecerdasan dominan siswa, guru dapat merancang kegiatan lapangan yang lebih holistik dan diferensiasi instruksional, sehingga semua siswa dapat mengembangkan literasi sains secara efektif melalui metode yang sesuai dengan kecerdasan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pengaruh metode field trip berbasis multiple intelligence pada materi ekosistem terhadap peningkatan literasi sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain one group pre-test and post test design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X di salah satu SMA Negeri di kota Bandung yang terdiri dari 30 siswa. Diperoleh data profil multiple intelligence dan peningkatan literasi sains. Melalui kuesioner multiple intelligence, diketahui hasil profil multiple intelligence bersifat heterogen dengan jenis kecerdasan naturalis yang paling dominan. Literasi sains siswa diketahui berdasarkan hasil tes pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 15 item soal. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah adanya peningkatan literasi sains secara keseluruhan pada kategori sedang, dengan skor N-Gain 0,52. Secara keseluruhan pada tiga indikator kompetensi literasi sains menunjukkan peningkatan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran field trip berbasis multiple intelligence memberi pengaruh pada peningkatan literasi sains pada materi ekosistem. By understanding students' dominant intelligence, teachers can design more holistic field activities and instructional differentiation, so that all students can develop scientific literacy effectively through methods that suit their intelligence. This research aims to analyze the impact of the field trip method based on multiple intelligence on ecosystem material in enhancing students' science literacy. This quantitative research employs a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The sample of this study consists of 30 tenth-grade students from a public high school in Bandung. Data on multiple intelligence profiles and the improvement of science literacy were obtained. Through a multiple intelligence questionnaire, it was found that the multiple intelligence profiles were heterogeneous, with naturalistic intelligence being the most dominant. Students' science literacy was assessed using a multiple-choice test consisting of 15 items. The results showed an overall improvement in science literacy in the medium category, with an N-Gain score of 0.52. Overall, the three indicators of science literacy competence showed improvement. This indicates that the field trip learning method based on multiple intelligence positively impacts the enhancement of science literacy in the ecosystem material.
