Abstract

Pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di Sekolah Dasar terdapat empat keterampilan berbahasa yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa, diantaranya adalah keterampilan membaca, menulis, menyimak, dan berbicara. Salah satu diantara keterampilan tersebut adalah membaca yang mempunyai peranan penting dalam menguasai keterampilan menulis, menyimak, dan berbicara. Seperti yang terdapat di kelas V Sekolah Dasar, salah satu kemampuan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang dipelajari siswa dalam keterampilan membaca adalah kemampuan mentukan ide pokok paragraf. Pada pembelajaran ini siswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir, mampu menjelaskan isi teks dan menganalisis paragraf untuk menemukan ide pokok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui kesulitan siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Barengkok 01 dalam mentukan ide pokok paragraf (2) Memperoleh media pembelajaran mentukan ide pokok paragraf bagi siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar berdasarkan hasil analisis terhadap kesulitan siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Barengkok 01. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara mendalam dan analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data dilakukan mulai dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi/kesimpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam menentukan ide pokok paragraf yaitu kesulitan siswa memahami makna ide pokok paragraf dan kesulitan siswa memilah kalimat utama dan kalimat penjelas. Setelah diketahui kesulitan yang terjadi pada siswa dalam menemukan ide pokok paragraf, selanjutnya peneliti membuat solusi alternatif berupa media pembelajaran berupa video animasi guna memudahkan siswa dalam memahami materi ide pokok paragraf dan dipublikasikan melalui YouTube. When learning Indonesian in elementary schools, there are four language skills that students must have, including reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. One of these skills is reading which has an important role in mastering writing, listening and speaking skills. As in class V elementary school, one of the skills in learning Indonesian that students learn in reading skills is the ability to determine the main idea of a paragraph. In this lesson, students can develop thinking skills, be able to explain the content of the text and analyze paragraphs to find the main idea. This research aims to (1) Find out the difficulties of class V students at Barengkok State Elementary School 01 in determining the main idea of a paragraph (2) Obtain learning media for determining the main idea of a paragraph for class V Elementary School students based on the results of analysis of the difficulties of class V students at Barengkok State Elementary School 01. This type of research is qualitative research with content analysis methods. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, in-depth interviews and document analysis. Data analysis techniques are carried out starting from data reduction, data presentation and data verification/conclusion. The results of the research show that there are difficulties experienced by students in determining the main idea of a paragraph, namely the difficulty of students understanding the meaning of the main idea of a paragraph and the difficulty of students sorting out the main sentence and explanatory sentences. After knowing the difficulties that occurred for students in finding the main idea of the paragraph, the researchers then created an alternative solution in the form of learning media in the form of animated videos to make it easier for students to understand the main idea of the paragraph and published it via YouTube.
