Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh inferiority feeling dan perceived social support terhadap social anxiety korban kekerasan dalam pacaran dewasa awal di Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan partisipan berjumlah 350 dewasa awal di Jawa Barat yang menjadi korban kekerasan dalam pacaran. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan teknik accidental sampling. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan The Feeling of Inadequacy Scale (TIFS) untuk mengukur inferiority feeling, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) untuk mengukur perceived social support, dan Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescents (SAS-A) untuk mengukur social anxiety. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inferiority feeling memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap social anxiety korban kekerasan dalam pacaran dewasa awal di Jawa Barat. Semakin tinggi inferiority feeling yang dimiliki korban kekerasan dalam pacaran dewasa awal di Jawa Barat, maka semakin tinggi pula social anxiety yang dialami. Sedangkan, perceived social support memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap social anxiety korban kekerasan dalam pacaran dewasa awal di Jawa Barat. Semakin rendah perceived social support yang dimiliki korban kekerasan dalam pacaran dewasa awal di Jawa Barat, maka semakin tinggi social anxiety yang dialami. This research aims to determine the influence of inferiority feelings and perceived social support on the social anxiety of victims of dating violence in early adulthood in West Java. This research used a quantitative method with 350 participants in early adulthood who live in West Java and were victims of dating violence. Non-probability sampling, specifically accidental sampling, was used in this research. The instruments used in this study are The Feeling of Inadequacy Scale (TIFS) to measure feelings of inferiority, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) to measure perceived social support, and the Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescents (SAS-A) to measure social anxiety. The results showed that inferiority feelings have a significant positive influence on the social anxiety of the victims of dating violence who are still in early adulthood and live in West Java. The higher the feeling of inferiority of the victims of dating violence in early adulthood who live in West Java, the higher the social anxiety experience. Another result showed that perceived social support has a significant negative influence on the social anxiety of victims of dating violence in early adulthood who live in West Java. The higher the perceived social support of the victims of dating violence in early adulthood who live in West Java, the lower the social anxiety they experience.
