Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pola asuh orang tua terhadap perilaku prososial anak usia5-6 tahun. Perilaku prososial meliputi tindakan-tindakan positif seperti berbagi, membantu, dan empati, merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan sosial anak. Pola asuh orang tua, yang mencakup pendekatanpendekatan seperti pola asuh otoritatif, otoriter, permisif, dan abai, diyakini memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan perilaku prososial anak. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain kualitatif deksriptif. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 4 orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 5-6 tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara yang mengukur pola asuh orang tua serta perilaku prososial anak. Temuan dari penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang mendalam mengenai hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dan perkembangan perilaku prososial anak usia dini. Penelitian ini juga menekankan pentingnya penerapan pola asuh yang mendukung untuk mengembangkan perilaku prososial dan agar dapat memperbaiki pola asuh guna mendukung perkembangan sosial anak. ----- This study aims to analyze the role of parenting styles on the prosocial behavior of children aged 5-6 years. Prosocial behavior, which includes positive actions such as sharing, helping, and empathy, is an important aspect of children's social development. Parental parenting styles, which include approaches such as authoritative, authoritarian, permissive and neglectful parenting, are believed to have a significant influence on the development of children's prosocial behavior. By using qualitative methods with descriptive qualitative design. The research sample consisted of 4 parents who had children aged 5-6 years. Data was collected through interviews that measured parents' parenting patterns and children's prosocial behavior. The findings from this study provide in-depth insight into the relationship between parenting styles and the development of prosocial behavior in early childhood. This research also emphasizes the importance of implementing supportive parenting patterns to develop prosocial behavior and to improve parenting patterns to support children's social development.
