Abstract

Guru memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam mengembangkan perilaku kemandirian anak di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui peran guru dalam mengembangkan perilaku kemandirian anak kelompok B. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Adapun subjek penelitian yaitu 3 orang guru kelompok B. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni Miles & Huberman terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dalam mengembangkan perilaku kemandirian anak kelompok B sudah cukup baik, dimana guru menjalankan perannya yang dapat membantu mengembangkan perilaku kemandirian anak kelompok B yaitu: sebagai pembimbing, fasilitator, dan motivator. Metode yang digunakan guru dalam mengembangkan perilaku kemandirian anak melalui cara pembiasaan dengan cara praktek langsung. Tantangan yang dihadapi guru yaitu ada 2 faktor antara lain; faktor internal (dari dalam diri anak), dan faktor eksternal (guru, orang tua dan lingkungan). ----- Teachers have a very important role in developing children's independence behavior at school. This study aims to describe and find out the role of teachers in developing children's independence behavior in group B. The method used is qualitative with a case study research design. The research subjects were 3 group B teachers. Data collection techniques used in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used, namely Miles & Huberman, consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the research conducted, it shows that the role of the teacher in developing the independent behavior of group B children is quite good, where the teacher carries out his role which can help develop the independent behavior of group B children, namely: as a guide, facilitator, and motivator. The method used by teachers in developing children's independent behavior through habituation by direct practice. The challenges faced by teachers are 2 factors, among others; internal factors (from within the child), and external factors (teachers, parents and the environment).
