Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan adanya permasalahan mengenai perkembangan bahasa ekspresif anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam perkembangan bahasa ekspresif anak usia dini tanpa dilakukan kegiatan bercerita pagi dengan yang menggunakan kegiatan bercerita pagi. Populasi yang berjumlah 28 anak dan sampel penelitiannya anak kelompok B RA yang ada di Kabupaten Purwakarta yang berjumlah 26 orang dengan rentang usia 5-6 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis Quasi Eksperimen Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Instumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pretest yang diperoleh dari kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi yaitu sebesar 63.08 sedangkan kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 62.23. Selain itu, hasil peningkatan juga diperkuat dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank pada kelas eksperimen diketahui nilai Sig.(2-tailed) adalah 0,001 dan nilai Z = -3,202. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol menggunakan uji Paired Sampel t Test sebagai uji dikelas kontrol hasil t hitung sebesar 0,001<0,05 hasil uji Mann-Whitney U Test, diketahui nilai Sig.(2-tailed) adalah 0,001 dan nilai Z = -4,360 terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, berdasarkan hasil post-test. ----- This research is motivated by the existence of problems regarding the development of expressive language in early childhood. This study aims to determine whether there is a significant difference in the development of expressive language in early childhood without morning storytelling activities and those using morning storytelling activities. The population of 28 children and the research sample were 26 children in group B RA in Purwakarta Regency with an age range of 5-6 years. The research method used is the Quasi Experiment Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research instruments used were observation sheets, tests and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that the average pretest value obtained from the experimental class was higher, namely 63.08, while the control class obtained an average value of 62.23. In addition, the results of the increase were also strengthened by using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test in the experimental class, the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.001 and the Z value = -3.202. Meanwhile, in the control class, the Paired Sample t Test was used as a test in the control class. The calculated t result was 0.001 <0.05. The Mann-Whitney U Test results showed that the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.001 and the Z value = -4.360. There was a significant difference between the control class and the experimental class, based on the post-test results.
