Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan sikap sosial anak usia dini melalui peneraparan metode bercerita “fabel”. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena permasalahan utama pada penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya pengetahuan sikap sosial anak usia dini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas) dengan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu anak Kelas B2 disalah satu TK di Kabupaten Purwakarta yang berjumlah 8 orang. Hasil dari penelitian tindakan kelas menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan sikap sosial anak dapat meningkat melalui metode bercerita, terlihat pada penelitian siklus I 55% dan siklus II 80%. Peningkatan indikator dapat ditunjukkan dengan anak mampu berinteraksi baik dengan guru maupun teman yang lainnya, anak mampu mengenali karakter dan perasaan, anak mampu mengetahui sikap tolong menolong dan menghargai. Guru disarankan dapat menerapkan metode bercerita dengan menggunakan media yang lebih bervariatif. ----- This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of social attitudes of early childhood through the exposure of the “fable” storytelling method. This research is motivated because the main problem in this study is the low knowledge of social attitudes of early childhood. This is due to the lack of treatment to provide understanding or stimulus to children in the learning process and other activities, as well as learning methods that are less varied. This research method uses PTK (Classroom Action Research) with the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. This research was conducted in two cycles with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were Class B2 children in one of the kindergartens in Purwakarta Regency, totaling 8 people. The results of the class action research show that children's social attitude knowledge can increase through the storytelling method, seen in cycle I research (55%) and cycle II (80%). The increase in indicators can be shown by children being able to interact well with the teacher and other friends, children are able to recognize characters and feelings, children are able to know the attitude of helping and respecting. Teachers are advised to apply the storytelling method by using more varied media.
