Abstract
Melihat kasus-kasus yang sedang marak terjadi dan sudah dalam keadaan kritis yang membutuhkan penanganan yang tepat, salah satu upayanya yaitu menanamkan nilai pendidikan karakter melalui berbagai media seperti buku dongeng bilingual. Dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter diperlukan buku dongeng yang isinya memuat materi sesuai dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter, oleh karena itu isi materi yang terdapat dalam buku dongeng bilingual perlu diteliti kesesuain dalam isi teks terhadap nilai pendidikan karakter. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain analisis isi (content analysis), penelitian ini menggunakan objek penelitian yaitu buku dongeng bilingual 'Seri Fabel Pembentuk Karakter'. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keterkaitan isi teks buku dongeng bilingual 'Seri Fabel Pembentuk Karakter' terhadap nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter serta kesesuaian buku dongeng sebagai alat bantu belajar anak usia dini, sehingga buku dongeng bilingual tersebut dapat dijadikan media pembelajaran untuk anak dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter. ----- Seeing the cases that are rampant and already in a critical state that requires proper handling, one of the efforts is to instill the value of character education through various media such as bilingual fairy tale books. In instilling character education, a fairy tale book is needed whose content contains material in accordance with the values of character education, therefore the content of the material contained in the bilingual fairy tale book needs to be examined for its suitability in the content of the text for the value of character education. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with a content analysis design, this research uses the object of research, namely the bilingual fairy tale book 'Character Shaping Fable Series'. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation studies. The results showed that there is a connection between the content of the text of the bilingual fairy tale book 'Character Building Fables Series' to the values of character education and the suitability of the fairy tale book as an early childhood learning tool, so that the bilingual fairy tale book can be used as a learning medium for children in instilling character education.
