    Abstract

The data collection process through learning outcomes tests and non-tests in the form of teacher and student activity observation results, and documentation results. The results of the research on the application of the problem-based learning model assisted by audio-visual media show that students' listening skills have increased in cycle I by obtaining an average of 66.58 with a percentage of learning success of 47.82%. Likewise, teacher activity reached 93.75%, and student activity reached 92.31%. In cycle II, the average was 78.53 with a percentage of learning success of 87%, and the increase in teacher activity according to the steps of this model reached 100%, and student activity reached 100%. Based on the acquisition of these values, it can be concluded that the application of the problem-based learning model assisted by audio visual media can improve the listening skills of fourth grade students of SDN 5 Sindangkasih.
