Abstract

Pembelajaran keterampilan menyimak teks narasi siswa diduga belum baik, sebab pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan tanpa melibatkan model dan media pembelajaran. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan guna memperbaikinya yakni dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan media literacy cloud. Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa tujuan yakni: 1) mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menyimak teks narasi siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model SAVI berbantuan media literacy cloud dan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model problem based learning; 2) mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan media literacy cloud terhadap keterampilan menyimak teks narasi siswa. Metode yang digunakan ialah eksperimen dengan desain quasi-experimental yang berbentuk nonequivalent control group. Sampel penelitian yakni siswa kelas III A dan kelas III B di salah satu sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Subang dengan jumlah siswa pada masing-masing kelas sebanyak 20 siswa. Data sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran diperoleh melalui instrumen tes keterampilan menyimak siswa. Penelitian memperoleh hasil bahwa model SAVI berbantuan media literacy cloud meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak teks narasi siswa yang dibuktikan dengan hasil uji n-gain yang memperoleh rerata sebesar 0,5898 pada kategori sedang. Pengaruh model SAVI berbantuan media literacy cloud terhadap keterampilan menyimak teks narasi ditunjukkan oleh hasil uji t yang mendapat nilai signifikansi < 0,05 maka H0 diterima sehingga diperoleh perbedaan yang signifikan. ----- Students' learning of narrative text listening skills is thought to be not good, because learning is carried out without involving learning models and media. One effort that can be made to improve this is by implementing the SAVI learning model assisted by media literacy cloud. This research has several objectives, namely: 1) to determine the improvement in narrative text listening skills of students who receive learning using the SAVI model assisted by media literacy cloud and students who receive learning using the problem based learning model; 2) determine the effect of implementing the SAVI learning model assisted by media literacy cloud on students' narrative text listening skills. The method used is an experiment with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent control group. The research sample was students in class III A and class III B in one of the elementary schools in Subang Regency with a total of 20 students in each class. Data before and after learning was obtained through student listening skills test instruments. The research obtained results that the SAVI model assisted by media literacy cloud improved students' narrative text listening skills as evidenced by the results of the n-gain test which obtained an average of 0.5898 in the medium category. The influence of the SAVI model assisted by media literacy cloud on narrative text listening skills is shown by the results of the t test which gets a significance value of <0.05, so H0 is accepted so that a significant difference is obtained.
