Abstract

Berpikir kritis adalah salah satu proses penting dalam keterampilan berpikir yang membantu siswa dalam membuat, mengevaluasi, dan mengaplikasikan keputusan yang tepat. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa sekolah dasar. Salah satu usaha yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan model kooperatif tipe Number Head Together. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model Number Head Together dan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model Make a Macth dan pengaruh model Number Head Together terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV di salah satu SD Negeri di Cikampek yang berjumlah 50 siswa dengan kelas IVA dan IVB masing-masing 25 siswa. ----- Critical thinking is an important process in thinking skills that helps students make, evaluate, and apply the right decisions. This research was motivated by the low critical thinking abilities of elementary school students in mathematics. One effort that can be done is to implement a Number Head Together type cooperative model. This research aims to determine and analyze the increase in critical mathematical thinking skills of students who receive learning using the Number Head Together model and students who receive learning using the Make a Mach model and the influence of the Number Head Together model on improving the critical mathematical thinking skills of elementary school students. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample for this research was class IV students at one of the state elementary schools in Cikampek, totaling 50 students with class IVA and IVB each having 25 students.
