Abstract

Hasil belajar sangat penting untuk ditingkatkan pada proses pembelajaran, hal ini untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa selama pembelajaran. Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar menjadi latar belakang pada penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media PhET simulation terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media PhET simulation dibandingkan dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent pretest-posttes control grup dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 62 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrumen tes hasil belajar dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan pengaruh model kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media PhET simulation terhadap hasil belajar siswa sebesar 54,4% hasil uji n-gain pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media PhET simulation sebesar 0.5553 sedangkan kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD sebesar 0.3298 yang artinya siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran IPA menggunakan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media PhET simulation lebih baik dari pada siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Peneliti merekomendasikan bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk berfokus kepada hasil belajar terutama pada aspek kognitif ----- Learning outcomes are very important to improve in the learning process, this is to measure students' abilities during learning. The low learning outcomes of elementary school students are the background for this research. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the jigsaw type cooperative model assisted by PhET simulation media on student learning outcomes and to determine the increase in student learning outcomes using the jigsaw type cooperative model assisted by PhET simulation media compared to using the STAD type cooperative model. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design with a total of 62 students as subjects. The instruments used are learning outcomes test instruments and documentation. The results of data analysis show that the effect of the jigsaw type cooperative model assisted by PhET simulation media on student learning outcomes was 54.4%. The results of the n-gain test in the experimental class which used the jigsaw type cooperative model assisted by PhET simulation media was 0.5553 while the control class used the cooperative type model. STAD is 0.3298, which means that students who receive science learning using the jigsaw type cooperative model assisted by PhET simulation media are better than students who receive STAD type cooperative learning. The researcher recommends that future researchers focus on learning outcomes, especially on cognitive aspects
