Abstract
Keberhasilan dalam proses belajar mengajar berkaitan dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Implementasi di sekolah dasar, model pembelajaran diduga bersifat monoton dan tidak sesuai dengan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa diperlukannya Solusi pengembangan model pembelajaran. Salah satunya dengan menerapkan model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 1 Hegarmanah. Tujuan penelitian ini diantaranya mengetahui: 1) Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar yang mendapatkan model STAD lebih baik dibandingkan yang mendapatkan model konvensional; 2) Pengaruh model STAD terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran PKn sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen non-equivalent control group design pada pembelajaran PKn pola hidup gotong royong di kelas IV sekolah dasar dengan jumlah subjek 42 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan kesimpulan: 1) Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar yang mendapatkan model STAD lebih baik dibandingkan siswa yang mendapatkan model konvensional; 2) Terdapat pengaruh sebesar 75,6% dari penerapan model STAD terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Oleh karena itu, model STAD dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam pembelajaran khususnya dalam peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Peneliti selanjutnya direkomendasikan melakukan penelitian sejenis dengan menerapkan model STAD untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis lainnya. ----- Success in teaching and learning was related to using appropriate learning models. However, in the implementation in elementary schools, the learning model was thought to be monotonous and not in line with 21st-century learning. This showed that solutions were needed in the development of learning models. One was by applying the student team achievement division (STAD) learning model. This research was conducted at SDN 1 Hegarmanah. The objectives of this study included: 1) Knowing the increase in critical thinking skills of elementary school students who learned with the STAD learning model was better than students who got conventional learning; 2) Knowing the effect of the STAD learning model on students' critical thinking skills in elementary school Civics learning. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design on Civics learning with the subject matter of cooperation lifestyle in class IV elementary school with a total of 42 students. The research instruments used were tests, observations, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions were obtained: 1) The improvement of critical thinking skills of elementary school students who got learning with the STAD learning model was better than students who got conventional learning; 2) There was an influence of 75.6% of the application of the STAD learning model on the critical thinking skills of elementary school students who got learning with the STAD learning model.
