    Abstract

    Penelitian ini didasari oleh hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan peneliti di lingkungan
    sekolah SMAN 2 Majalaya mengenai beberapa orang siswa kelas 11 yang diduga
    mengalami stres akademik. Mencermati fenomena stres akademik yang muncul dan
    dialami oleh siswa SMAN 2 Majalaya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mereduksi stres
    akademik dengan pendekatan konseling singkat berfokus solusi atau solution focused
    brief counseling dalam setting konseling individual pada siswa kelas 11 SMAN 2 Majalaya
    2022/2023. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode mix methods dengan design
    single subject. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukan analisis dari angket
    student life stress inventory terdapat 99 siswa atau 21% yang terkategori dalam siswa
    yang mengalami stress, dan 248 atau 71% siswa yang tidak mengalami stres konseling,
    selain itu konseling singkat berfokus solusi ini berdampak efektif dalam mereduksi stres
    akademik siswa terlihat dari perubahan skor stres akademik sesudah konseli diberikan
    layanan konseling singkat berfokus solusi, sehingga bisa dikatakan bahwa konseling
    singkat berfokus solusi layak untuk diberikan kepada siswa untuk mereduksi stres
    akademik, selain itu juga hal ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan solusi dan rekomendasi bagi
    guru BK sebagai salah satu pendekatan yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengelola stres
    akademik pada siswa di sekolah.
    This research is based on the results of a preliminary study conducted by researchers in
    the SMAN 2 Majalaya school environment regarding several grade 11 students who were
    suspected of experiencing academic stress. Observing the phenomenon of academic
    stress that arises and is experienced by students at SMAN 2 Majalaya, this research aims
    to reduce academic stress with a solution focused brief counseling approach in an
    individual counseling setting for grade 11 students at SMAN 2 Majalaya 2022/2023. The
    research was conducted using a mix methods with a single subject design. The results of
    the research showed that after analyzing the student life stress inventory questionnaire,
    there were 99 students or 21% who were categorized as students who experienced stress,
    and 248 or 71% of students who did not experience counseling stress, apart from that this
    brief solution-focused counseling had an effective impact in reducing Students' academic
    stress can be seen from changes in academic stress scores after the counselees were given
    brief solution-focused counseling services, so it can be said that solution-focused brief
    counseling is appropriate to be given to students to reduce academic stress. Apart from
    that, it is also hoped that this can be used as a solution and recommendation for guidance
    and counseling teachers. as an approach that can be applied to manage academic stress
    in students at schoo.l
