Abstract
Penelitian tentang penerapan metode pembelajaran Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap peserta didik kelas sebelas Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode pembelajaran Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian diperoleh kesimpulan; Pertama, terdapat perbedaan kemampuan analisis antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS). Kedua, terdapat perbedaan kemampuan analisis siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan pada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Ketiga, terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan analisis siswa antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Dengan demikian, penggunaan metode pembelajaran Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan analisis yang lebih baik dibandingkan metode pembelajaran konvensional Kata Kunci: Studi Eksperimen, Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving, Kemampuan Analisis Research on the application of learning methods Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) in improving students' analytical skills . The research was conducted on the eleventh grade students of Social Sciences on economic subjects.This study was conducted to determine the application of the learning methods of Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) in improving students' analytical skills on economic subjects . This study is a quasi- experiment with form nonequivalent control group design . Based on the test results was concluded ; First , there is a difference between the analytical skills before and after treatment in the experimental class that uses learning methods Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS). Second , there are differences between the analytical skills of students before and after treatment in the control class using conventional methods . Third , there is a difference between the students' analytical skills improvement class experiments using learning methods Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) with grade control using conventional methods . Thus , the use of learning methods Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) can enhance analysis capabilities better than conventional learning methods.
