Abstract

Literasi merupakan salah satu kemampuan dasar yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa, khususnya siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Tetapi, berdasarkan survei yang diselenggarakan oleh PISA, remaja Indonesia dengan kelompok usia 15 tahun menduduki peringkat 73 di dunia. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan Indonesia dalam menangani rendahnya literasi siswa berusia 15 tahun tersebut adalah dengan adanya GLS. Salah satu sekolah yang melaksanakan GLS ini adalah SMP Negeri 45 Bandung. GLS di SMP Negeri 45 Bandung ini sudah berjalan lebih dari satu tahun, namun masih terdapat siswa yang belum berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatannya. Persepsi siswa dalam gerakan ini dapat menjadi salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan oleh pihak sekolah untuk dapat menilai dan mengembangkan kegiatan ini di masa mendatang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor eksternal dan internal siswa terhadap pelaksanaan GLS di SMP Negeri 45 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner yang disebarkan secara online. Sampel penelitian didapatkan sejumlah 90 siswa dan penentuan jumlah responden tiap kelas ditentukan berdasarkan tingkatan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara faktor eksternal dan internal siswa terhadap pelaksanaan GLS di SMP Negeri 45 Bandung. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat antara Persepsi Siswa dengan Pelaksanaan GLS. Literacy is one of the basic abilities that must be possessed by students, especially junior high school students. However, based on a survey by PISA, Indonesian teenagers with the age group of 15 years ranked 73 in the world. One of the efforts made by Indonesia goverments in dealing with the low literacy of 15-year-old students is GLS. One of the schools that implement GLS is SMP Negeri 45 Bandung. GLS at SMP Negeri 45 Bandung has been running for more than a year, but there are still students who have not actively participated in its activities. Students' perception in this movement can be one of the approaches that can be used by the school to be able to assess and develop this activity in the future. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between external and internal factors of students towards the implementation of GLS at SMP Negeri 45 Bandung. This research uses a correlational quantitative approach. The data collection technique used a questionnaire distributed online. The research sample obtained a total of 90 students and the determination of the number of respondents per class was determined based on grade level. The results showed a positive relationship between external and internal factors of students towards the implementation of GLS in SMP Negeri 45 Bandung. The correlation test results showed a strong relationship between Student Perception and Implementation of GLS.
