Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan menyimak peserta didik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Sunda di kelas III SD Negeri Indihiang. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, peserta didik kerap kali bertanya mengenai materi yang sudah dijelaskan oleh gurunya, hal tersebut dikarenakan mereka kurang menyimak dan memahami materi bahasa Sunda yang telah diajarkan. Salah satu materi yang melibatkan proses menyimak pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Sunda di kelas III adalah materi Dongeng. Hal tersebut tentu akan berdampak pada pemahaman materi pelajaran dan hasil belajar peserta didik itu sendiri. Disamping itu juga penggunaan media pembelajaran dikategorikan kurang terutama pada mata pelajaran muatan lokal bahasa Sunda. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian tentang “Peningkatan Keterampilan Menyimak Dalam Berbahasa Sunda Melalui Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Video Animasi”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu meningkatkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, aktivitas, dan hasil pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran video animasi dalam upaya meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak peserta didik pada pembelajaran bahasa Sunda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kurt Lewin dengan langkah-langkah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perencanaan, pelaksanaan, aktivitas, dan hasil belajar dengan penerapan media video animasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Sunda di sekolah dasar memiliki dampak positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menyimak peserta didik di kelas III SD Negeri Indihiang. This research is motivated by the low listening skills of students in learning Sundanese language in the third grade of Indihiang Elementary School. During the learning process, students often ask questions about the material already explained by their teacher, which is due to their lack of listening and understanding of the Sundanese language material taught. One of the materials involving the listening process in Sundanese language subjects in the third grade is the fairy tale material. This will certainly impact the understanding of subject matter and the learning outcomes of the students themselves. In addition, the use of learning media is categorized as insufficient, especially in local content subjects such as Sundanese language. Based on these issues, research on "Improvement of Listening Skills in Sundanese Language Through the Use of Animated Video Learning Media" was conducted. The aim of this research is to improve planning, implementation, activities, and learning outcomes by using animation video learning media to enhance students' listening skills in Sundanese language learning. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with Stephen Kemmis and Robyn McTaggart's model, which involves planning, implementation, observation, and reflection steps. The results of this research conclude that planning, implementation, activities, and learning outcomes with the application of animation video media in Sundanese language learning at elementary schools have a positive impact on improving students' listening skills in the third grade of Indihiang Elementary School.
