    Abstract

    Tidak jarang beberapa wacana dianggap kurang kohesif, karena tidak semua penutur bahasa dapat memahami aspek-aspek kebahasaan. Wacana dianggap baik dan benar apabila mempunyai hubungan yang berkesinambungan, kohesif, dan koheren. Adanya konjungsi membuat hubungan antarkalimat menjadi padu dan logis, karenanya ide yang disampaikan dapat dipahami dengan mudah. Apabila konjungsi yang digunakan tidak sesuai, maka dapat menimbulkan makna dalam tulisan tidak dapat tersampaikan dengan baik terutama bagi pembaca. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memaparkan bentuk, fungsi, serta makna konjungsi dalam kumpulan cerpen Hate Awewe karya Risnawati sebagai unsur penanda kohesi pada wacana prosa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode deskriptif. Selain itu, data yang ditemukan dianalisis menggunakan teknik studi dokumentasi. Data yang ditemukan kemudian diklasifikasi derta dianalisis sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Dari penelitian ini, ditemukan 54 fungsi konjungsi diantaranya 13 konjungsi koordinatif, konjungsi subordinatif sebanyak 36 konjungsi, ada 4 data konjungsi korelatif, serta 1 data konjungsi antarkalimat. Fungsi konjungsi yang paling banyak digunakan dalan cerpen ini yaitu konjungsi subordinatif, sedangkan yang paling sedikit muncul yaitu konjungsi antarkalimat. Adapun makna konjungsi yang paling banyak muncul yaitu konjungsi yang merujuk pada hubungan sebab dan hubungan pertentangan. Sementara julmah data yang ditemukan masing-masing berjumlah 8 data.

    It is not uncommon for some discourses to be considered less cohesive, because not all language speakers can understand linguistic aspects. Discourse is considered good and correct if it has a continuous, cohesive and coherent relationship. The existence of conjunctions makes the relationship between sentences coherent and logical, so the ideas conveyed can be understood easily. If the conjunctions used are not appropriate, it can result in the meaning of the writing not being conveyed well, especially to the reader. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of explaining the form, function and meaning of conjunctions in the short story collection Hate Awewe by Risnawati as a signifying element of cohesion in prose discourse. This research uses a qualitative approach, with descriptive methods. In addition, the data found was analyzed using documentation study techniques. The data found was then classified and analyzed according to the research objectives. From this research, 54 conjunction functions were found, including 13 coordinating conjunctions, 36 subordinating conjunctions, 4 correlative conjunction data, and 1 inter-sentence conjunction data. The conjunction function that is most often used in this short story is the subordinating conjunction, while the one that appears the least is the inter-sentence conjunction. The meaning of conjunction that appears most frequently is conjunction which refers to the relationship of cause and relationship of conflict. Meanwhile, the number of data found each amounted to 8 data.
