Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan bola modifikasi terhadap hasil belajar lemparan atas dalam pembelajaran softball. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain Posttest Only Control Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakulikuler softball di SMAN 5 Cirebon sebanyak 20 siswa putra dengan jumalah treatment yang di berikan adalah sebanyak 16 pertemuan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive Sample dengan pertimbangan siswa tersebut aktif dalam ekstrakuler softball. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes keterampilan bermain softball. Kemudian setelah dilakukan uji antara bola modifikasi dan bola sebenarnya ternyata penggunaan bola modifikasi memberikan pengaruh yang berarti terhadap hasil belajar lemparan atas dalam pembelajaran softball. Dari daftar distribusi t taraf nyata 0,05 dengan derajat kebebasan (dk) = 18 didapat t tabel sebesar 1,73 dari penghitungan nilai t hitung didapat sebesar (0.002) berada diantara t tabel (1,73), maka hipotesisnya (Ho) diterima. Kesimpulannya adalah modifikasi bola memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar lemparan atas dalam pembelajaran softball di SMAN 5 Cirebon. Kata kunci : Modifikasi bola, Lemparan Atas, Softball. This paper aims to determine the effect of using a modified ball on learning outcomes in learning softball overhead throws. The method used is an experimental method to design Posttest Only Control Group Design. The samples in this study were students who take extracurricular softball at SMAN 5 Cirebon son with as many as 20 students in the amount of treatment that is given as many as 16 meetings. Sampling was done by purposive sample technique with consideration of the students are active in softball extracurricular. The instrument used is a test of skill to play softball. Then after the test is done between the ball and the ball actually turns modification uses a modified ball a significant impact on learning outcomes in learning softball throw-over. From the list of the real level of 0.05 t distribution with degrees of freedom (df) = 18 t table of 1.73 obtained from the calculation of the t value obtained (0.002) is between t table (1.73), then the hypothesis (Ho) is accept. The conclusion is modified ball have a significant influence on learning outcomes in learning softball throw-over in SMAN 5 Cirebon. Keywords: Modified ball, Overhead Throw, Softball.
