Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal siswa tidak terlepas dari model pembelajaran yang monoton dan tidak menunjang keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal siswanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran tipe think-pair-share. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V C SDIT Widya Cendekia Kota Serang dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 23 orang. Keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal siswa diukur melalui lembar penilaian observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, data presentase penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-pair-share oleh siswa pada siklus I memperoleh presentase 61,11% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 83,33% dengan kategori baik. Sedangkan untuk nilai rata-rata keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal siswa pada pra siklus yaitu 8,7, pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 11,1 lalu dilakukan perbaikan sehingga pada siklus II meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata 12,3 dengan kategori baik. Sehingga pada penelitian ini, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-pair-share dapat meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal siswa. The low interpersonal communication skills of students cannot be separated from the monotonous learning model and does not support students' interpersonal communication skills. This research aims to improve students' interpersonal communication skills by implementing a think-pair-share type learning model. The approach used is a qualitative approach with the Classroom Action Research method. Which is done in two cycles. The subjects in this research were class V C students at SDIT Widya Cendekia Serang City with a total of 23 students. Students' interpersonal communication skills are measured through observation assessment sheets. Based on the research results, the percentage data on the application of the think-pair-share type cooperative learning model by students in cycle I obtained a percentage of 61.11% and in cycle II it increased to 83.33% in the good category. Meanwhile, the average score for students' interpersonal communication skills in the pre-cycle was 8.7, in the first cycle it increased to 11.1 and then improvements were made so that in the second cycle it increased with an average score of 12.3 in the good category. So in this study, the researcher concluded that the application of the think-pair-share type cooperative learning model could improve students' interpersonal communication skills.
