Abstract
Pendidikan merupakan fondasi utama dalam membentuk individu yang berkarakter. Pentingnya pembinaan karakter siswa menjadi perhatian utama dalam dunia pendidikan saat ini. Dalam beberapa literatur, keberadaan pramuka sebagai ekstrakulikuler pembinaan karakter siswa telah diakui. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak implementasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka terhadap pembinaan nilai-nilai karakter siswa di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Widya Cendekia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan kuesioner guna mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka dan dampaknya terhadap karakter siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka secara signifikan mempengaruhi nilai-nilai karakter siswa di SDIT Widya Cendekia. Ditemukan bahwa dari 65 responden, jumlah hasil respon tepat siswa menghasilkan 95% jawaban tepat dan 5% jawaban tidak tepat. Hal ini menunjukkan perubahan positif dalam penerapan 16 nilai-nilai karakter oleh siswa dan memberikan bukti konkret bahwa kegiatan pramuka dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam membina nilai-nilai karakter siswa di lingkungan sekolah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan karakter tidak hanya terbatas pada pembelajaran di dalam kelas, tetapi juga melibatkan kegiatan ekstrakulikuler seperti pramuka sebagai wadah yang efektif dalam membina sikap dan nilai-nilai karakter siswa. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini mencakup rekomendasi bagi sekolah dan guru untuk lebih memperkuat dan mengintegrasikan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka sebagai bagian penting dari kegiatan pembinaan karakter siswa. Education is the main foundation in forming individuals with character. The importance of fostering student character is a major concern in today's world of education. In some literature, the existence of Scouting as an extracurricular character building for students has been recognized. Nevertheless, there is a gap between theory and reality on the ground. This study aims to explore the impact of the implementation of Scout extracurricular activities on fostering student character values in Widya Cendekia Integrated Islamic Elementary School. The research method used is the case study method with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, documentation studies, and questionnaires to gain a deep understanding of the implementation of Scout extracurricular activities and their impact on student character. The results showed that Scout extracurricular activities significantly affected the character values of students at SDIT Widya Cendekia. It was found that out of 65 respondents, the number of students' correct responses resulted in 95% correct answers and 5% incorrect answers. This shows a positive change in the application of the 16 character values by students and provides concrete evidence that scout activities can be an effective strategy in fostering student character values in the school environment. The conclusion of this study confirms that character education is not only limited to learning in the classroom, but also involves extracurricular activities such as scouts as an effective forum in fostering students' attitudes and character values. The practical implications of the study include recommendations for schools and teachers to further strengthen and integrate Scouting extracurricular activities as an important part of student character building activities.
