Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterampilan yang harus dimiliki pada abad 21, yaitu literasi dan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi geografi dan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi lingkungan di SMA Negeri 2 Majalaya kabupaten Bandung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas Kelompok XI-1A dan Kelompok XI-1B di SMA Negeri 2 Majalaya tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024 yang terdiri dari 37 orang peserta didik dan 38 orang peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan Eksperimen .Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning terhadap literasi geografi dengan nilai koefisien persamaan regresidiketahui nilai t hitung adalah 5.656 dan nilai signifikansi adalah sebesar 0.000, dan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,691 menunjukan adanya hubungan yang kuat antara model Problem Based Learning dengan kemampuan literasi geografi (2) Terdapat pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap Berpikir kritis dengan nilai koefisien persamaan regresi diketahui nilai t hitung adalah 9.687 dan nilai signifikansi adalah sebesar 0.000, dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,853 menunjukan adanya hubungan yang sangat kuat antara model Problem Based Learning dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis (3) berpengaruh secara signifikan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.005 model Pembelajaran Inquiry Learning terhadap Literasi geografi dengan nilai koefisien persamaan regresi nilai t hitung 3.005 (4) Terdapat pengaruh antara Model Pembelajaran Inquiry Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan nilai koefisien persamaan regresi diketahui nilai t hitung 6.858 dan nilai signifikansi adalah sebesar 0.000. Model Problem Based Learning dan Inquiry Learning model yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran geografi (5) Berdasarkan nilai signifikan (2-tailed) < 0,05 yaitu 0,000 yang berarti H0 ditolak sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan literasi geografi siswa dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning di kelas eksperimen dan yang menggunakan pembelajaran Inquiry Learning di kelas kontrol.(6) Berdasarkan nilai signifikan (2-tailed) < 0,05 yaitu 0,000 yang berarti H0 ditolak sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan Berpikir Kritis siswa dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning di kelas eksperimen dan yang menggunakan pembelajaran Inquiry Learning di kelas kontrol. This research is motivated by the skills that must be possessed in the 21st century, namely literacy and critical thinking. This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to improve students' geographic literacy and critical thinking skills on environmental material at SMA Negeri 2 Majalaya, Bandung district. The sample in this research was Group XI-1A and Group XI-1B classes at SMA Negeri 2 Majalaya for the 2023/2024 academic year, consisting of 37 students and 38 students. The method used is experimental. The result of this research showed that (1) There is an influence of the application of the Problem Based Learning model on geographic literacy with the coefficient value of the regression equation. It is known that the calculated t value is 5.656 and the significance value is 0.000, and the coefficient value is 0.691 indicating the existence of a strong relationship. between the Problem Based Learning model and geographic literacy skills (2) There is an influence of the Problem Based Learning Model on critical thinking with the coefficient value of the regression equation, it is known that the calculated t value is 9.687 and the significance value is 0.000, and the correlation coefficient value is 0.853, indicating that there very strong relationship between the Problem Based Learning model and critical thinking skills (3) has a significant effect with a significance value of 0.005, the Inquiry Learning Learning model on geographic literacy with a regression equation coefficient value of 3.005 (4) There is an influence between the Inquiry Learning Learning Model on thinking skills Critically, the coefficient value of the regression equation shows that the calculated t value is 6.858 and the significance value is 0.000. Problem Based Learning and Inquiry Learning models that can be used in geography learning (5) Based on a significant value (2-tailed) < 0.05, namely 0.000, which means H0 is rejected so it can be said that there is a difference in students' geographic literacy abilities using the Problem Based model Learning in the experimental class and those using Inquiry Learning in the control class. (6) Based on the significant value (2-tailed) < 0.05, namely 0.000, which means H0 is rejected so it can be said that there is a difference in students' Critical Thinking abilities using the Problem Based model Learning in the experimental class and those using Inquiry Learning in the control class.
