Abstract

Berangkat dari problematika minimnya berpikir kesejarahan pada siswa yang dilatar belakangi rata-rata nilai raport siswa kelas IV SDN Kalilanang 1 pada mata pelajaran IPS yaitu 51. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya penggunaan media yang belum bervariasi dalam pembelajaran yang mengakibatkan minimnya berpikir kesejarahan. Selain itu, peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep sejarah. Maka dari itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media komik digital dalam meningkatkan berpikir kesejarahan siswa kelas IV SDN Kalilanang 1. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Kalilalang 1 pada semester ganjil 2023/2024. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Pre Eksperimen Design dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Seluruh Siswa kelas IV SDN Kalilanang 1, dengan pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, yang di mana seluruh populasi akan dijadikan sampel. Instrumen yang dipakai berupa tes kognitif yang disajikan dalam bentuk pilihan ganda dan essay. Teknik analisis data yang dipakai yaitu Analisis data deskriptif dan Analisis data inferensial. Pada uji prasyarat Hipotesis, peneliti menggunakan Uji N-gain score menggunakan rumus yang sudah ditentukan, Uji Normalitas menggunakan Kalmogrof Smirnov, dan Uji T dengan menggunakan Paired Sample. Didapatkan hasil nilai rata-rata Pretest yaitu 36,88 dan nilai rata-rata Posttest yaitu 88,75. Dari hasil yang sudah ada, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Uji Paired Sample T-test yang di mana dari hasil uji tersebut didapatkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000, berdasarkan hasil tersebut karna 0,000 < 0,05 maka hipotesis yang diperoleh yaitu Ho di tolak dan Ha diterima. Karena Ha diterima, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan media komik digital pada pembelajaran IPAS tentang kerajaan bercorak Islam di Nusantara dalam meningkatkan berpikir kesejarahan siswa kelas IV SDN Kalilanang 1. Departing from the problem of the lack of historical thinking among students, the background is that the average report card score for class IV students at SDN Kalilanang 1 in the social sciences subject is 51. One of the causes is the lack of use of media that has not been varied in learning, which results in a lack of historical thinking. Apart from that, students have difficulty understanding historical concepts. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the influence of digital comic media in improving historical thinking in class IV students at SDN Kalilanang 1. This research was carried out at SDN Kalilalang 1 in the odd semester 2023/2024. The method used in this research is Pre-Experimental Design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The population used in this research is all fourth grade students at SDN Kalilanang 1, with sampling using a saturated sampling technique, where the entire population will be sampled. The instrument used is a cognitive test presented in the form of multiple choice and essay. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive data analysis and inferential data analysis. In testing the prerequisite Hypothesis, the researcher used the N-gain score test using a predetermined formula, the Normality Test using Smirnov's Kalmogrof, and the T Test using Paired Samples. The average Pretest score was 36.88 and the Posttest average score was 88.75. From the existing results, they were then analyzed using the Paired Sample T-test, where the Sig value was obtained from the test results. (2-tailed) of 0.000, based on these results because 0.000 < 0.05, the hypothesis obtained is that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Because Ha was accepted, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of digital comic media in science learning about Islamic kingdoms in the archipelago in improving the historical thinking of class IV students at SDN Kalilanang 1.
