Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya komponen-komponen kondisi fisik terhadap hasil pukulan drive dalam permainan squash diantaranya reaksi dan koordinasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara reaksi dan koordinasi dengan hasil pukulan drive dalam permainan squash. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan dalam dalam penelitian ini adalah anggota UKM Squash UPI Bandung sebanyak 11 orang yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes whole body reaction time, tes lempar tangkap bola, dan tes keterampilan bermain squash (drive backhand dan forehand). Menunjukkan terdapat hubungan reaksi dan koordinasi dengan hasil pukulan drive (forehand dan backhand). Dengan hasil penelitian reaksi dengan hasil pukulan drive forehand adalah r = - 0.658, nilai sig. 0.028 < 0.05, dengan drive backhand r = -0.626, nilai sig. 0.039 < 0.05, sedangkan hasil penelitian koordinasi dengan hasil pukulan drive forehand adalah r = 0.807, nilai sig. 0.003 < 0.05, dengan drive backhand r = 0.719, nilai sig. 0.013 < 0.05 This research was motivated because the importance of the components of the physical conditions of the drives results in a game of squash such as reaction and coordination. The purpose of this research was to find out the relationship between the reaction and coordination with drives results in squash game. This research use method descriptive correlational techniques. Samples used in this research is a member in student groups of squash UPI Bandung, there are 11 peoples were taken by using purposive sampling technique. Instrument used this research is a test of whole body reaction time, catching a ball throwing test and skills test playing squash (backhand and forehand drives). In this research there have reaction relationship and coordination with the results of the puch drives (forehand and backhand). With the research results within results of the blow drives (forehand) and the reaction r = - 0.658, ρ = 0.028 < 0.05, and within drive backhand r = -0.626, ρ = 0.039 < 0.05, while the results of the research coordination with forehand drive is r = 0.807, ρ = 0.003 < 0.05, and drive backhand is r = 0.719, ρ = 0.013 < 0.05.
