Abstract

Pengaruh kinerja karyawan mempunyai peran penting terhadap produktivitas perusahaan, oleh karena itu pemimpin harus memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawannya. Salah satu cara yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan adalah dengan motivasi kerja. Permasalahan yang ada pada PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Cirebon adalah kurangnya kedisiplinan karyawan yang menyebabkan target perusahaan tidak tercapai, oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis serta mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan sampel seluruh karyawan pada bagian penjualan PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Cirebon yang berjumlah 70 yang menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 26. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji asumsi klasik, uji regresi linear sederhana, uji hipotesis dan uji koefisien determinasi. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan sumbangsih berupa ilmu mengenai manajemen sumber daya manusia khususnya dalam kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Cirebon sebesar 85,1%, sedangkan sisanya 14,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini, seperti kompensasi, kondisi pekerjaan, kemampuan, dll. The influence of employee performance has an important role on the productivity of the company, therefore leaders must pay attention to the factors that affect the performance of their employees. One way to improve employee performance is work motivation. The problem that exists at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Cirebon is the lack of employee discipline which causes the company's targets not to be achieved, therefore this study aims to analyze and determine the effect of work motivation on employee performance. This study used a quantitative method with a descriptive and verification approach with a sample of all employees at the sales department of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Cirebon, totaling 70 using the non probability sampling technique with a saturated sample. Data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data processing using SPSS software version 26. The data analysis technique used the classic assumption test, simple linear regression test, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination test. This research can contribute in the form of knowledge about human resource management, especially in employee performance. The results of this study indicated that work motivation has a positive effect on the performance of employees of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Cirebon by 85.1%, while the remaining 14.9% influenced by other variables not included in this study, such as compensation, working conditions, abilities, etc.
