Nia Astrianingrum, - (2024) PENGARUH HEALTH CONSCIOUSNESS TERHADAP DISORDERED EATING PADA MEMBER FITHUB BANDUNG. S1 thesis, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the influence of health consciousness on disordered eating among Fithub Bandung members. The research utilizes a quantitative method with a correlational design. The sample comprises 352 Fithub Bandung members aged 18-30 years. Research instruments include the Health Consciousness Scale (HCS) by Hong (2009), adapted by Amanda & Sadida (2018), and the Eating Attitude Test – 16 (EAT-16) by Ocker et al (2007). Subsequently, data analysis involves the use of simple regression analysis to observe the impact of health consciousness on disordered eating. The results indicate that: (1) higher health consciousness is associated with lower disordered eating; (2) health consciousness has a 16.5% influence on disordered eating.
