Abstract

ekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D), model pengembangan menurut Plomp, dengan 3 tahap yaitu tahap pendahuluan, pengembangan, dan penilaian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa wawancara, observasi, dan instrumen tes LKPD kemampuan berpikir kritis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah menurut Miles & Huberman berupa pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Instrumen yang dikembangkan berupa LKPD, kisi-kisi, dan rubrik penskoran. Instrumen yang dikembangkan di validasi oleh 3 ahli, yaitu ahli evaluasi, ahli materi IPS, dan praktisi. Tiga validator ini merupakan 2 Dosen Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dan satu Guru kelas. Peneliti melakukan uji coba keterbacaan kepada 5 orang peserta didik kelas VI. Untuk menguji kelayakan instrumen yang dikembangkan, kemudian divalidasi dengan menggunakan rumus Aiken’s V yang meghasilkan indeks rata-rata 0,94 yang termasuk kedalam kategori valid tinggi. Sedangkan, relibilitas pada penelitian ini menggunakan Cronbach Alpha dimana instrumen yang dikembangkan mendapatkan hasil 0,635 yang termasuk kedalam kategori reliabel. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran kepada peserta didik kelas VI Sekolah Dasar, diperoleh hasil kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan skor rata-rata 36,93 dimana skor tersebut masuk ke dalam kategori sangat kritis. Critical thinking skills are high-level skills needed by students in solving a problem. The objectives of this study are, 1) developing a Critical Thinking Ability test instrument in the form of LKPD Problem Based Learning; 2) know the quality of the test instrument; 3) knowing the portrait of social studies critical thinking skills of students in grade VI of Elementary School. This research uses the Design and Development (D&D) method, a development model according to Plomp, with 3 stages, namely the introduction, development, and assessment stages. Data collection techniques used in the form of interviews, observations, and LKPD test instruments for critical thinking skills. The data analysis techniques used in this study are according to Miles & Huberman in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing / verification. The instruments developed are LKPD, grids, and scoring rubrics. The instrument developed was validated by 3 experts, namely evaluation experts, social studies material experts, and practitioners. These three validators are 2 lecturers of the Indonesian University of Education and one class teacher. Researchers conducted readability trials on 5 grade VI students. To test the feasibility of the developed instrument, it was then validated using Aiken's V formula which resulted in an average index of 0.94 which is included in the high valid category. Meanwhile, reliability in this study used Cronbach Alpha where the instrument developed obtained results of 0.635 which is included in the reliable category. Based on the results of measurements to grade VI elementary school students, the results of students' critical thinking skills were obtained with an average score of 36.93 where the score was included in the very critical category.
