Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya mahasiswa mengembangkan kemampuan adaptabilitas karir yang kuat melalui rasa ingin tahu, keberanian untuk mencoba berbagai peluang, dan keyakinan dalam merencanakan masa depan. Seluruh Mahasiswa Angkatan 2019 Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia tahun ajaran 2022/2023 menjadi partisipan penelitian. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis profil/gambaran kemampuan adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa Angkatan 2019 Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia tahun ajaran 2022/2023, serta Menyusun program layanan bimbingan dan konseling karir di jenjang perguruan tinggi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa Angkatan 2019 Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Tahun Akademik 2022/2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian survey. Instrumennya terdiri dari 24 item pernyataan yang dibagi ke dalam empat dimensi adaptabilitas karir, yakni kepedulian (concern), pengendalian (control), rasa ingin tahu (curiosity), dan keyakinan (confidence). Analisis data penelitian menggunakan Rasch Model. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gambaran umum adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa Angkatan 2019 FIP UPI, sebanyak 94,93% atau 300 mahasiswa dari total 316 bersifat adaptif dalam menghadapi tantangan perkembangan karier, transisi ke dunia kerja, dan potensi trauma, baik yang dapat diprediksi maupun tidak. This research is motivated by the importance of students developing strong career adaptability skills through curiosity, the courage to explore various opportunities, and confidence in planning for the future. All students from the 2019 batch in the Faculty of Education at the Indonesian University of Education for the academic year 2022/2023 participated in the study. The research aims to describe and analyze the profile of career adaptability skills among the 2019 batch students in the Faculty of Education at the Indonesian University of Education for the academic year 2022/2023. Additionally, the study aims to develop guidance and counseling programs at the university level to enhance the career adaptability skills of the 2019 batch students in the Faculty of Education at the Indonesian University of Education for the Academic Year 2022/2023. The research utilized a quantitative descriptive method with a survey research design. The instrument consisted of 24 statement items divided into four dimensions of career adaptability: concern, control, curiosity, and confidence. The research data were analyzed using the Rasch Model. The results indicate that the overall profile of career adaptability among the 2019 batch students in the Faculty of Education at UPI is adaptive, with 94.93% or 300 out of 316 students demonstrating adaptability in facing challenges in career development, transitioning to the workforce, and potential trauma, both predictable and unpredictable.
