Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kemampuan manajerial terhadap keberhasilan usaha para pengrajin boneka di Kota Bandung. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 49 pengrajin boneka. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi variabel bebas adalah kemampuan manajerial dan variabel terikat yaitu keberhasilan usaha dengan indikator laba. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Resourced Based Strategy dari Mahoney dan Pandian serta teori Dinamis dari J. Schumpeter. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sensus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket untuk data primer dan dokumentasi untuk data sekunder. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.00 for Windows. Hasil penelitian memberikan temuan bahwa kemampuan manajerial berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha yang diukur berdasarkan indikator laba. Kata Kunci : kemampuan manajerial, keberhasilan usaha, laba This study aims to determine the influence of managerial skills to business success of the craftsmen doll in the industrial district of Bandung. The study is conducted on 49 craftsmen who make these dolls. Saturated sampling technique is used as the preferred method of sampling. Independent variable that is identified consist of managerial skill while as business success is identified as a dependent variable with profit as indicator. Resource Based Theory from Mahoney and Pandian and Dinamic Theory from J. Schumpeter are using as the grand theory. Sensus design is used as the research method. Data collection was done by using questionnaires for primary data and documentation for the secondary data. The data was analyzed by simple regression analysis and data processing performed by the software SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Based on the output of data analysis, results show that, managerial skill has a positive and significant effect on business success (with indicator profit). Thus it was seen that managerial skills are essential for the success of doll business. Keywords : managerial skill, success of business, profit
