Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan rendahnya kinerja pegawai di salah satu BUMD di Bandung yakni AMDK Perumda Tirtawening Kota Bandung yang disebabkan oleh kurang baiknya rantai komunikasi interpersonal yang terjalin dan fasilitas kerja yang ada di perusahaan tersebut. Masalah ini penting untuk diatasi karena apabila dibiarkan akan menghambat produktivitas kerja dan bahkan berdampak pada kerugian perusahaan. Maka dari itu, kinerja pegawai adalah salah satu hal yang perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang termasuk ke dalam jenis survey explanatory. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel komunikasi interpersonal dan fasilitas kerja sebagai variabel independent dan kinerja pegawai sebagai variabel dependen. Adapun teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel jenuh dikarenakan seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel Jumlah sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah 33 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dengan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal berpengaruh positif dan siginifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, fasilitas kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan komunikasi interpersonal dan fasilitas kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai. The problem studied in this research is related to the low performance of employees in one of the BUMDs in Bandung, namely AMDK Perumda Tirtawening, Bandung City, which is caused by the lack of good interpersonal communication chains and work facilities in the company. This problem is important to overcome because if left unchecked it will hamper work productivity and even result in company losses. Therefore, employee performance is one of the things that needs to be improved. This research uses a quantitative approach which is included in the type of explanatory survey. The variables used in this research are interpersonal communication variables and work facilities as independent variables and employee performance as the dependent variable. The sampling technique used in this research is a saturated sample because the entire population was sampled. The number of samples used in this research was 33 respondents. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The results of this research show that interpersonal communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work facilities have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and interpersonal communication and work facilities have an effect on employee performance.
