Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan menyimak cerita pada siswa. Berdasarkan hasil data prasiklus bahwa keterampilan menyimak cerita siswa kelas IV SDN 8 Nagrikaler masih rendah. Maka peneliti melakukan tindakan dengan menerapkan model Think Pair Share berbantuan media Literacy Cloud selama proses pembelajaran dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak cerita siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart melalui 2 siklus dan diawali prasiklus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 8 Nagrikaler dengan subjek penelitian 28 siswa yang terdiri 12 siswa Perempuan dan 16 siswa laki-laki. Terdapat peningkatan pada keterampilan menyimak cerita setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan Literacy Cloud yang diperoleh dari hasil aktivitas guru dan siswa serta hasil belajar siswa. Hasil aktivitas guru dan siswa terdapat peningkatan pada siklus I sebesar 70% dengan kategori baik dan Siklus II 100% dengan kategori sangat baik Rata-rata hasil tes keterampilan menyimak cerita siswa pada prasiklus sebesar 51 dengan jumlah siswa tuntas 5 siswa. Siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 61 dengan jumlah siswa tuntas 12 siswa dan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 43%. Siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata 80 dengan jumlah siswa tuntas 24 siswa dan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 86%. Dengan demikian bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media Literacy Cloud dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak cerita siswa kelas IV. ----- d on the results of pre-cycle data, the story listening skills of class IV students at SDN 8 Nagrikaler still need to improve. So, the researchers took action by implementing the Think Pair Share model assisted by the media Literacy Cloud during the learning process to improve students' story-listening story-listening skills. This research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with the design of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart goes through 2 cycles and begins with a pre-cycle. This research was carried out at SDN 8 Nagrikaler with research subjects of 28 students consisting of 12 female students and 16 male students. There was an increase in story listening skills after implementing the Think Pair Share learning model assisted by the Literacy Cloud, obtained from teacher and student activities and student learning outcomes. The results of teacher and student activities showed an increase in Cycle I of 70% in the excellent category and Cycle II of 100% in the outstanding category. The average student story listening skills test results in the pre-cycle were 51, with the number of students completing five students. Cycle I obtained an average score of 61, with 12 students completing and a completion percentage of 43%. Cycle II obtained an average score of 80, with the number of students completing 24 students and a completion percentage of 86%. Thus, applying the Think Pair Share learning model assisted by the media Literacy Cloud can improve the story-listening skills of class IV students.
