Abstract

Seiring perubahan pola makan dan perkembangan industri pariwisata di Kota Bandung, peningkatan laju pertumbuhan UMKM kuliner semakin meningkat. Hal tersebut memberikan potensi besar bagi para pelaku bisnis dalam memasarkan produknya. Di samping meningkatnya laju pertumbuhan, UMKM kuliner belum dapat memaksimalkan kinerjanya secara optimal sehingga dinilai masih rendah yang disebabkan kurangnya memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang cukup dalam mengelola usaha, persaingan yang sangat ketat, peraturan dan birokrasi yang rumit, serta UMKM seringkali kesulitan untuk mendapatkan akses ke pasar dan teknologi yang diperlukan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh intellectual capital dan knowledge management terhadap kinerja UMKM melalui innovation capability baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Ukuran sampel sebanyak 103 UMKM kuliner. Teknik pengambilan sampel mengunakan cluster random sampling dengan penentuan responden secara acak. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan intellectual capital, knowledge management, dan innovation capability termasuk ke dalam kategori cukup tinggi sedangkan kinerja UMKM termasuk ke dalam kategori rendah. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan intellectual capital dan knowledge management terhadap kinerja UMKM melalui innovation capability baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Namun intellectual capital berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja UMKM disebabkan tidak adanya ketidaksejajaran/ketidaksinergian dalam implementasi human capital, structure capital, relational capital, dan technological capital dikarenakan pemilik/pimpinan UMKM memiliki intellectual capital yang cukup tetapi jika kompetensi yang diperlukan untuk mengelola, mengintegrasikan, atau menerapkan dalam strategi bisnis dinilai kurang maka dapat berdampak pada menurunnya kinerja. Dengan mengelola aset intelektual dengan baik, mengoptimalkan knowledge management, dan meningkatkan kemampuan inovasi, para pelaku UMKM dapat mencapai kinerja bisnis yang lebih baik. In addition to the increasing growth rate, culinary MSMEs have not been able to maximize their performance optimally so they are still considered low which results in a lack of sufficient knowledge and skills in managing the business, very tight competition, complicated regulations and bureaucracy, and MSMEs often have difficulty getting access to food and beverages. market and technology required. This research aims to determine the influence of intellectual capital and knowledge management on MSME performance through innovation capabilities, both directly and indirectly. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample size was 103 culinary MSMEs. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling with random determination of respondents. The results of the descriptive analysis show that intellectual capital, knowledge management, and innovation capabilities are in the fairly high category, while the performance of MSMEs is in the low category. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant positive influence of intellectual capital and knowledge management on MSME performance through innovation capabilities, both directly and indirectly. However, intellectual capital has a negative effect on the performance of MSMEs due to the lack of alignment/dissynergy in the implementation of human capital, structural capital, relational capital, and technological capital because the owners/leaders of MSMEs have sufficient intellectual capital but if the competence required to manage, integrate, or implement if the business strategy is considered inadequate, it can have an impact on decreasing performance. By managing intellectual assets well, optimizing knowledge management, and improving innovation capabilities, MSME players can achieve better business performance.
