Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) untuk mendeskripsikan desain pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis microlearning pada materi geometri untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas 4 di sekolah dasar. 2) untuk mendeskripsikan produk bahan ajar berbasis microlearning untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep geometri siswa fase b di sekolah dasar. 3) untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan produk bahan ajar berbasis microlearning untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep geometri siswa fase b di sekolah dasar. 4) untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis microlearning untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep geometri siswa fase b di sekolah dasar.Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman konsep siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika materi geometri bangun datar kelas 4 yang menjadi akibat dari kurangnya ketersediaan bahan ajar lainnya disekolah dan beragamnya gaya belajar yang dimiliki tiap siswa, sehingga matematika menjadi pembelajaran yang tidak disenangi dan sulit dipelajari oleh siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development (DnD) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, angket dan tes siswa. Hasil penelitian menggunakan skala likert yang berupa validasi ahli materi dan ahli praktisi serta N-gain untuk menghitung nilai siswa sebagai final dari peningkatan pemahaman konsep yang dimiliki siswa. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan terdiri dari 5 yaitu berupa modul, video eksplainer dan motion graphic. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memiliki presentase 95% ahli materi dan 98% ahli praktisi, keduanya mendapatkan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Kemudian peningkatan pemahaman siswa yang dinilai dari penerapan bahan ajar dan hasil posttest menghasilkan N-gain skor 0,8431818 dengan kriteria “Tinggi”. Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar, Microlearning, Matematika, Geometri, Bangun Datar, Pemahaman Konsep This study aims to 1) to describe microlearning-based material development design on geometry materials to improve the understanding of concepts of fourth-grade students in primary school. 2) to define a microlearning- based material product to enhance comprehension of phases b geometrics concepts for primary-school students. 3) to define the feasibility of microlearning based material products to improve understanding of phase b student geometries concepts in elementary school. 4) To describe the implementation of micro-learning based learning materials development to increase understanding of Phase b students' geometric concepts at primary schools. This research is motivated by the lack of students' understanding of concepts in the mathematics subject, particularly in the geometry of two-dimensional shapes for grade 4, which results from the insufficient availability of other teaching materials at school and the diverse learning styles of each student. Consequently, mathematics becomes an unpopular and challenging subject for students. This study employs the Design and Development (DnD) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The instruments used in this study are observation, questionnaires, and student tests. The research results utilize Likert scale, which includes expert validation and practitioner validation, as well as N-gain to calculate student scores as the final measure of the improvement in their understanding of concepts. The developed teaching materials consist of five elements, including modules, explainer videos, and motion graphics. The developed teaching materials received a 95% score from content experts and a 98% score from practitioners, both categorized as "Very Good." Furthermore, the improvement in student understanding, assessed from the application of teaching materials and post-test results, yielded an N-gain score of 0.8431818 with the criteria of "High”.
